Kadoza stepped into the early morning forest. It's sweet crisp air, running over the slender purple fox body. She was out to enjoy herself today, letting the job of mothering take back seat for a little while. By her side there was a small basket of food to enjoy some breakfast by a lake. Her tail twitched back and forth as she was happy to just be here in this moment. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back against a tree. Her tiny paws picking up a piece of toast, to spread some homemade raspberry berry jelly on before biting into it. " What a great morning.~" She chimed happily, as she ate her breakfast.

Hatsumomo stared down at her feet as she went out for her early morning walk. It wasn't often she traveled this far from home, but she felt she needed to get away from town for some time. She knew of the forest nearby, and had heard of gorgeous groves and rivers running through it. She was curious and eager to finally go see something like that. A natural location, not a hand-formed and grown garden. She swallowed and glanced up at the rather imposing trees before stepping into the forest. Hopefully there wouldn't be something horrible that would jump out and want to eat her. After a while of walking, her ears pricked forward towards a voice. "H-hello...?"

Kadoza eyes widened to look around as she heard a small voice. It was soft and sweet, so it didn't alarm her to trouble, but still it concerned her. Turning she saw the small frame of another fox. Seeing she looked just as sweet and fragile as her voice was, Kadoza relaxed once more. "Oh, well hello to you as well. I wasn't expecting to meet anyone out here this morning, but would you care for a bit of breakfast?" She motioned to her basket, before finishing up her own piece of toast. "My name is Kadoza, pleasure to meet you.~"

Hatsumomo blinked and shrank back a bit once she came upon the other fox. She laid her ears back in response and watched her cautiously, worried that she might in fact jump her. While she could trust those that spent time in the handmade gardens, 'wild foxes' as she thought were always unpredictable.
But her voice was very gentle. Very calming. Motherly...in a way. Her ears perked back up slightly and she began to slowly approach. "I didn't know others were out here. I-I-I mean of course there are always wild foxes out here...but...I wasn't expecting to stumble on one so soon...." She murmured, looking down at her feet again.
"I'm Hatsumomo..." She said after a short period of silence. It was only polite to introduce herself after all.

Kadoza nodded her head a bit to what the sweet girl was saying, until she mentioned the word wild. Her brows furrowed a bit, until she put two and teo together. This girl thought that she was a wild foxes!? "Wild?. Ohhh, no no no." She held up her paws gently, shaking them a bit with her head as she spoke. "I'm not wild. I have a house and sleep in a bed."
She gave a shy smile to Hatsumomo, before speaking again. "I can't hunt, unless it's at a grocery store. In which case I'm hunting for good deals." Her little tail began to sway again, waiting for what she might say next.

The other tilted her head slightly as she listened. Not wild? So she wasn't the only one that got curious and came into the forest? She shook her head and looked at the basket and the breakfast being eaten and tilted her head in confusion once more.
"So...you come out here to eat all alone? Why? Don't you have anyone that wants to eat with you? Sure seems boring and lonely...." Hatsumomo murmured, swishing her own tail as well.

"Well, it's my day off! When I have the time I like to take a break anywhere relaxing." Kadoza chimed happily as she conversed with the sweet little fox. It was nice to meet someone else out here. A small smile on her face as she pushed the basket closer to Hatsumomo. "Feel free to eat whatever you like. I have toast, granola and berries." She nudge her to go on, as she took some granola for herself.
"Why are you out here alone?" She mewed as she crunched quietly on granola.

Hatsumomo looked a bit skeptically at the basket of treats before deciding it was safe. She smiled brightly and trotted over, plopped down and made herself quite at home with a bit of breakfast.
"Thank you for the offer~" She said, trying to remain as polite and 'normal' as possible while eating. "Out here al--oh...I just wanted to see what it was like...I don't really have any friends to spend time with. No one else I know otherwise comes this way. So out of curiosity...I came by myself." She mumbled over a piece of toast.
