Hey guys!
I wasn't sure where to post this topic so I just posted it here! sweatdrop

I was just wondering if any of you guys knew any online tutorials on drawing anime styled characters?
Free preferably, I'm in university so I have to save money. whee

I'm really good at drawing nature, but when it comes to people, I can never get it right. sad

I have a bunch of how to draw manga books at home, but I still can't properly size my body proportions and I suck at making details (like hair and clothing textures).

What should I do?
Any advice would be be appreciated! smile

Youtube has all sorts of tutorials ranging from make-up to zombie apocolypse survival guide. There is one in particular I have seen called markcrilley.
Look him up and you will find the most wonderful, organized anime art tutorials.
I say, if you're looking to make your own manga anytime, consider Mark Crilley's words as advice~

Youtube has all sorts of tutorials ranging from make-up to zombie apocolypse survival guide. There is one in particular I have seen called markcrilley.
Look him up and you will find the most wonderful, organized anime art tutorials.

Yes, I know about youtube, theres just so many tutorials, I dont have the time to listen to all of them and some aren't helpful at all (explaining wise). sweatdrop
I watched one of Mark's videos like you suggested, they're very well-explained suprisingly, thank you for the advice!

Some tutorials for body parts and stuff
Here's a simple tutorial for perspective on characters
There's lots of tutorials on this blog

It probably isn't the best advice, but I learned to draw characters by looking at pictures of anime characters and copying (not tracing) them.
Hope that helps at least a little~
