Chairforce Basic Training

Essentially, you will be pitted in a battle against a senior airmen or two (in this case, me) and expected to do battle with them, to roughly gauge your basic understanding of dog fighting, dog fighting maneuvers, and basic flight stuff.

You will be judged both on your strategy and general roleplaying skills as well as your understanding of mechanics for flight and standard procedure. You will not however, be graded on whether or not you win or lose; the objective is to present how good you are, in general, at flight mechanics. Thus the over-all purpose is to engage the enemy (in this case, me!) win or lose, but do your over-all best.

Therefore the judging criteria is not success in combat, but success in general capabilities.

Setting n Stuff
You're at Nellis Air Force base, Area 51. This is the airforce testing grounds for testing new planes, and for dealing with new pilots. Much of the testing occurs over an open ocean, with rescue people close by. Presumably it's better to crash in the water for survival reasons; also, you won't hit nearby places, fly too far etc. The scenario will also largely involve the navy, which you will mostly operate with, and the planes will be easier to recover as a result, due to the fact they can float.

You will usually take off from the air force base, but sometimes you will launch from aircraft carriers.
