Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod looked at Toshiro he knew he had his reasons for being suspicious after all a lot of magic could be used in so many bad ways, wars started and ended by magic even if it wasn't his intention he made a note to be very careful of where he put the magic. So it wouldn't be used for any thing other than what it should be used for. He smiled that he would help "I understand there are many terrible things you can do with magic." he said understandingly. Now were to start he thought before he burned a small bit of his hair which he held in his hand changing it to a small glowing orb.

 ◊♦ I’d rather trust and regret ◊♦ Asuna Toshiro and Kirito looked at the orb with interested looks." What's that for?" Kirito asked as he finished unpacking his things. Toshiro curiously looked at the orb, trying to recall anything from his four years.

Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod held the orb in his hand but turned his head towards Kirito. What should I say I don't want to give it way to the other guy... "You know how I said I need a starting point... Well this is the starting point." he said choosing his words very carefully. Turning back to the orb knowing that it would be able to store the magic as well as use it when it was time. He let the majority of his spare magic flow into the orb making it glow a bit brighter.

I'll probably have more magic reserves than Kirito and maybe yours. I'm not quite sure, but I'll have an easier time doing this than Kirito here. He really just arrived, he hasn't mastered control of magic yet." Kirito gave a hostile look to his relative but let it slide. It was true that he didn't control it that well, maybe not at all. Determined, Kirito asked," Is there anything else that I can do? I mean, I finished unpacking, so I'm okay for collecting any materials, if you need."

He looked at Toshiro with a small hesitation before handing him the small orb which hummed with a massive about of magic. "I wouldn't judge he so quickly, he has potential but has a long way to go." he said truthfully, even if Kirto couldn't use magic Chrourd could sense inner magic in him. He looked back at Kirito "If you would you could get Chrourd's magic enchantment crystal, It in my back pack next to the dragonmen history journal." he motioned to the chair that he had put the bag.

History was not his best subject, but there was a vague remembrance in the back of Toshiro's head. Sensation of tingling pulsed through his hand as he transferred his reserves into the orb. Kirito walked slowly to the desk and found the crystalline object. He looked at the book with Dragonmen interestingly for the quickest moment before handing the crystal to Chord." I thought of the task as more of scavenging for plants and stuff around the island, but this is much easier than that." Kirito joked.

Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod looked at Toshiro noticing the slight familiarity in his vioce. How could he have heard of us Chrourd is possibly the latest one, had some human desiphered their langue and gotten a hold of their history? No that couldn't have happened must be something else. He finally desided."you haven't heard of them, they are human, dragon, fairys. Chrourd is one you might run into him some time, I'm a dragon brother by the way." he told Toshiro mentally laughing at the fact Chrourd didn't know what a dragon brother was even with all his research. He turned to Kirito and took the crystal power rushed through him. "I'm surprised you could even see it, it's very transparent unless you can see raw magic. I wouldn't send you to get it after all I'm the one who has wings" he said as his dragon wings appeared seemingly out of now where.

He hated not knowing things.Maybe I'll do some research on the matter. It sounds interesting, if I don't know it. He mused in thought." I could turn into a tiger spirit, but I don't want to." He slightly bragged. It wasn't a power he really wanted to depend on. No one knew the torment and hatred he gained because of it." Well, I might go back up to this dorm room. They're having a little social gathering and I thought it was pretty cozy. That, and I need to look for a job," He looked quickly to Chrod." Trust me, I think finding jobs are harder than high school." He said in a joking tone. Turning his head to face Kirito as well, he asked," If you want to go, the room number is 206... But I don't think they felt comfortable around me. I sensed their uncertainty as well as a dog could smell bacon." Toshiro looked at the orb as he let it siphon some of his magic reserves." I'll keep doing this, and I'll let you know if something's up or if it's full or... whatever." He reassured Chord. He walked up to Kirito and looked at him. He poked his forehead, a little thing he did when he lived with Kirito in Japan." See you later, 'coz. I have an apartment on the island, so if you don't feel so comfortable at school, come to me, a'ight?

As his brother-figure left, Kirito asked," What do you mean, I can see 'raw magic'? And what's a dragon brother?" He felt stupid asking questions. It probably irritated Chrod but curiousty bit him hard.

Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod watched Toshiro leave insertion he liked the idea of his life practicably being in Toshiro's hands even if he was Kirito's cousin. If he filled it to much it would trigger early and become wild magic and explode, if he triggered the orb with out Chrod being there it would be loss and he would die. Chrod turned back Kirto and put on a smile glad to think about something else even if it was having to explain something. "I mean the crystal if completely transparent, nearly impossible to see. What color do you see it as?" He asked holding out the crystal to Kirito to see. "A dragon brother in short is the care taker of a dragonmen's body while they are spirituality damaged, like a multiple personality but with out switching around. We live until the person gets better then we die, and I don't want to die." He said truthfully with a hint of worry in his voice.

◊♦ I’d rather trust and regret ◊♦ AsunaKirito looked at the crystal. I'm not sure, I can just see it. It's not something I can describe... Kirito talked in thought to himself. As his roommate explained the responsibility of a dragon brother, his own look darkened. That's an awful fate to be in, but is it possible to really have a dragon brother taken away from a Dragonman? The thought seemed preposterous, but if Chrod feel like he could do it, Kirito really had nothing against him." If I may ask, what happened to the Dragonman? What made him 'spiritually damaged'?"

Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod waited for the answer to his trick question which he never got, magic boosters don't let off any for of color as well as most magic. He know that if he was good at detecting magic he could sense all sorts of magics and he wondered if he should test it. He looked at Kirito seeming a bit uncomfortable with a that subject. "He became... Whats a work you would understand.. Broken Hearted is the best way to put it." he said clearly not wanting to go into detail.

Kirito looked at the Dragon brother." Nothing, never mind." The depressing thought filled the atmosphere, which Kirito despised. Focused to change the subject, he thought about the party above them." You know, Toshiro is going to get the orb to its best, and you're not going to 'die' anytime soon, not on my watch. Why don't we get acquainted to our fellow classmates?"

Stage: Danger- Chrod Chrod nodded at Kirito appreciating that he didn't push any harder to know the details. He knew that Toshrio only had a few and the least days and a couple of weeks at most to fill the orb, not that he doubted that he could more of that he wouldn't know how to thank him in the end. He looked back at Kirito and nodded in agreement. "Yeah lets go." He said as he pocketed the crystal and picked up the dragon men journal just in case Kirito or his cousin got curious again.

The Dragon Brother Chrod opened the window to his room and looked out side a smile crept across his face. " Well if no one is going to notice I could... fly... might as well if i'm going to die then might as well enjoy the small things" With that thought small flames started to dance around burning a few areas in his shirt which his wings formed out of on his back. The flames disappeared just as fast as they had came. Taking some time to stretch his wings he guessed if he hit the ground from this high that would be the last of him, but that didn't change his mind. He looked out the window, closed his eyes and took in a nerves breath before leaning out and falling. Feeling the wing wiz by he pressed his wings into his back making him fall at an expectorating pace. He didn't have to fall for very long until he was only a few feet off the ground his wings erupted spreading out making his fall into a large arch. Quickly changing directions he sailed up into the air until he could see the whole island. After a hour had passed he flew back to the window and crawled through it making sure to close it after he came in. Placing the few plants and other materials he had gathered around on his desk, taking time to arrange each one around a specific point where he put the crystal in the center along with a wood bowl. Smiling to him self as he looked at his work which would save his life if he finished in time. Rubbing his eyes he slowly walked over to his bed and threw him self on it and passed out.
