Weyrling Rules:
Alcohol and intimate relationships are strictly prohibited. Use of alcohol can confuse or frighten a dragonet, causing you to lose your dragon. The strong emotions caused by an intimate relationship can cause trouble with the rider-dragon bond, as well as the betweening of your dragon. Any misbehavior will be punished.
T'rel may be amused at Weyrling pranks, but that doesn't mean the rest of the Weyr will agree with him. (ICA = ICC)
Weyrlings are not allowed to do anything they haven't been taught first. If caught doing so, the Weyrlingmaster has the authority to keep a pair from learning to fly, to between, or in other words, make a weyrling's life hell for any amount of time, until he feels satisfied that this will not happen again.
Bullying is not tolerated. Anyone caught doing so will be severely punished. If continued, the Weyrlingmaster has the authority to hold a Weyrling pair from graduation until he feels this is no longer an issue.
Be in the barracks by curfew; there will be mandatory check ins during this time.

Remember that these are only examples of what a Weyrling's daily life could be like. These will likely be rearranged as the Weyrlingmaster sees fit, especially when they become senior Weyrlings.
A Weyrling has two rest days per sevenday, but curfew remains the same. A Weyrling cannot leave the Weyr without express permission, so will not have access to Gathers outside the Weyr.
Weyrling Schedule (Daily):
Fifth hour: Wake up Fifth hour: Dragonet feeding Sixth: Breakfast, Personal hygiene, bathing Seventh: Bathing / Oiling Eighth - tenth: Morning Lessons Tenth - twelfth: Chores Twelfth: Midday meal Thirteenth: Feeding / Oiling Fourteenth: Midday Lessons Fifteenth: Lessons Sixteenth: Exercise / Dragon and Me time Seventeenth: Supper Eighteenth: Free Time / Studies (If practicing a craft, this time is devoted to that) Nineteenth: Curfew (Mandatory check ins happen at this time)
Example of Chores
Weyrlings are expected to do their share, like the rest of the Weyrfolk. Keep in mind that weyrfolk may be willing to pay those who run errands for them! This will become easier as your weyrlings learn to fly.
Glow changing Kitchen work (peeling tubers, washing dishes) Cleaning out herdbeast areas Cleaning latrines Cleaning up after your dragon Sweeping out the dining hall Running errands for older riders
Chores can vary on the day, and the Weyrlingmaster's mood.
Example of Punishment
Latrine duty Glow duty Loss of free time Double chores Writing lines
Punishment varies on the offense, and the severity of it. The Weyrlingmaster has the authority to hold a Weyrling back from graduation until he feels it will not happen again.

Graduation
You did it! You survived! Congratulations, rider! Or maybe you didn't. Maybe you were the Weyrling lost between. Maybe your dragon somehow betweened you underground and you've gotten yourself forever encased in rock.
Promotions occur at the time of graduation; but graduation varies from rider to rider. The Weyrlingmaster must deem a Weyrling ready to take the next step forward. Onward, riders!

Proper Care of Growing Dragons
Upon further research throughout the Dragonlover's Guide to Pern and research in approved Weyrs, Mewrose and I have found that there is very little discussed about the health and care of dragonets. We have conjoined what we know of Pern and have made this list accordingly.
- Oiling to be done as needed. A first month weyrling is going to need twice as much as a fourth month weyrling. Twice or more oilings a day for the first five months; after the fifth month is reached, every two days is acceptable. The Weyrlingmaster will routinely check. Patchy skin can lead to cracked hide, which can, in turn lead to severe injury or death upon going between.
- Weyrling dragons will need fed every few hours for the first month, eventually coming to a point where they need fed only once a day. At full growth, they eat every three to five days.
- Dragonets need their sleep! Don't be surprised if your dragon falls asleep almost immediately after eating. This will happen for the first three months.
