[I know I never post... bad me. ]
But. How many people here are enrolled in an agracultural school. We are getting a miniature pony and three pigs in a week. Though we just built a really large horse barn and have cow, sheep, cat, mice, ducks, chickens, and when we get them the horses and pigs.
Is anyone in a school like mine? We clean out the whole lab everyday and get to train and halter break some animals.

rjg4242 i agree sounds like great fun. Most people would say its alot of work is it? Unless your a lazy bum or just don't care it's not. On a daily basis I go to school and clean out 3 pens, sanatize/scrub down the pen, feed and water those animals. Walk the cow and halter break the sheep, and one of the lambs is blind. But it is so much fun. A lot of kids at my school are stupid and don't do anything but go outside to smoke... I wish they could get kicked out of the program.

I'm contemplating attending or striving for an Agricultural degree. Not too sure if it will have a huge impact on whether I'm a veterinarian -- might decide if I'm a large breed or a small breed though. Personally, I've been rather put off on being a veterinarian anymore, and this was a dream I had since a toddler. Perhaps going to a program such as this or doing something involving real, live animals and not frickin' BOOKS will make me feel better.

I tell you what- it will. We do so much, even have vet tech classes so high school students can get jobs as a vet tech in surrounding vet hospitals. (Like I am trying to) Or in aqua science people get jobs at the aquarium and work with baby crocodiles and stuffs, it's all pretty cool.

Technically, I do. I go to Mississippi State University, which used to be Mississippi A&M. We have HAVE veterinary medicine, farming, dairy, etc., departments, and the school is reknowned for its cheeses and ice cream (which, I must say, are really damn tasty).
However, since I'm a zoology major rather than a veterinary major...I'm never on South Farm. :3

I've never heard of one, though it sounds like a dream school for me. Are you talking high school or college?
