"Didn't anybody tell you not to talk to stran-" He took a moment to think about what he was going to say, and just shook it off. "Sorry... Never mind, forget I said anything. Anyway..." He looked up at the twin-looking people, "I'm Yas-Drago. Or if you prefer, just Yas." He looked over at the kid. Did his bulb went out or something? I guess we're really gonna' do this. He went into a battle stance as rushing water appeared around his hands.
"We're not here to talk to a couple of has-beens, so just let us through and everything will be cool alright?" Through the angry look in his eyes, he was ready to go with the attack option if need be. Thought this was going to be a 'stroll through the woods' and enjoy the wild and venture the world, but noooo... This happens! He looked over at Ian with a furrowed brow as if saying 'Is this really happening?!'

   ¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤  They both laughed at the bandits comment, "Bandits? We actually live here and kind of guard this place, but whatever floats your boat." Dieviente was now thoroughly confused, "Wait, now you want to fight? Man you outsiders sure do like to change your mind." She raised her weapon again. "Well, since names are being thrown around, I am Dieviente Skoll and this is my brother Dievelkis Skoll." She pointed a thumb at her brother, who also got his reflector off his back. Dievelkis sighed, "I thought we would've avoided this..." Unlike his sister, he hated fighting. At first they were just traveling through, now they wanted to fight unless they got through without issues, "I'd really rather avoid a fight, but I see your friend has already chosen a fight."   Ian decided to try to make the first move and charged towards the girl, making her his opponent. What Ian didn't know was that after his previous lashes, the whip end was partially in front of his right foot and suddenly the boy pulled on the whip as he started to run, but ended up tripping himself. Ian slowly fell to the ground in an almost slow motion sort of way and smashed his forehead on a sharp jagged rock. Ian got to his knees and slowly stood up as if nothing had happened and returned to fighting stance. The rock was stuck on his head as he stood and there was a small silence, then the rock fell to the ground a cartoonish small spray of blood appeared from his head.
Ian felt the blood the trickle towards his eye and wiped his forehead then looked at his hand. His eyes widened as he saw the small bit of blood on his hand. Oh no. I'll have to heal that later. Hopefully nobody noticed... He thought to himself silently and just stared at the two, even though the blood continued to run down his forehead. It didn't seem like either of them really wanted to fight in the first place and wasn't much of a threat.
Ian decided he would call the match a draw since he wasn't really that good at fighting, obviously, he just thought it was the thing to do when random intruders jumped out at you. "Um..... so you guys are just protectors of this place?" Ian said realizing that they were probably the intruders. If these two were guardians, then they might have some strange super natural power that could easily kill them. "So if you could just let us through....." He continued with a slight shy laugh.

Theme Song: Future World Music-Voyage to AtlantisYas was about to attack about the same time as Ian until he saw in his peripheral vision that he was starting to slip. In slow-mo, he turned his head as he saw Ian hit the ground, no less on a rock, which made Yas' face wince at the thought of the pain he must be dealing with. Ouch, that's going to leave a mark. Then when as he stood up, he slowly saw the rock fall to the ground and the fountain of blood pouring from his forehead, which only made him wide-eyed. "Are you... okay?"
He looked back at the Skoll siblings then to Ian, trying to see if he could help him, but his pride showed that he did not want any help. That looks really bad... And he's taking it so lightly as if he's used to it... It was then that Yas blinked several times as he asked the two a question, and then his eyes went wide again as he asked if they could let them through.
"Wait..." He dispersed the water around his fists and put a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Guy, I know that was probably really embarrassing, but you were so keen on taking them on! Whatever happened to that?" He let go and shook his head, and looked at the two guardians and shrugged, "I'm not even sure how to explain what just happened... " Yas wasn't sure if he should ask if they could let them go too, after all they're on their territory in the middle of a war. "I'd expect you won't let this slide so much, so I wouldn't think any less if you wanted to off us right here right now."

¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤ Dieviente had prepared herself for a strike that never came. It seemed Ian had slipped and fallen. She tried to hold in a laugh but snorted and burst out laughing, "That's good stuff! Are you guys traveling comedians?" It seemed the battle had subsided, she put her reflector on her back and held out a hand to Ian and Yas, to show sportsmanship. "Yes, we just wander around making sure nobody's destroying things and whatnot."Dievelkis put his weapon away as well, happy no fighting had occurred, "I have no problem with letting you two pass through. Now that I can see you guys will be no threat." He joked lightly with a smile. "Although I will ask why you guys are here. Ian heard the girl laugh a little at his failed move. The kid blushed and looked to the ground. Yas-drago seemed confused as to why the boy had given up so quickly. Ian's confidence fell greatly though and his ambition to fight the people who could have killed him died. It was just another thing that proved how worthless he was. He wiped his forehead with his sleeve to rid of some of the blood, even though the wound would still be there for awhile.
Ian slightly whispered sadly and still a little embarrassed to Yas."Er, sorry about that Yas....." I can't do anything right and this guy is just going to think I'm a joke. Ian thought to himself now slightly getting red and angry with himself.
The two guardian people didn't seem to mind letting them through. "Well....I was just passing through. Then I got lost for an hour or so, and then Yas found me. I'm not quite sure how Yas found me, but I guess I'm lucky he did. I know there is a war and stuff, that's why I have been trying to stay low and take less obvious routes like these woods. I'm just trying to get away from my village as far as possible...."..And find a way to make my self useful for once..... Ian went ahead and shook the girls hand and tried to apologize. Ian suddenly had a curious question on his mind. "Um, if you two are protectors of this land, does that mean you also partake in the war when other regions' army come through?" He said wondering what would happen if two different nations started a feud here.

Theme Song: Future World Music-Voyage to AtlantisYas rubbed the back of his neck uneasily, "No... we're not traveling comedians..." Do I really look like one? He sighed as the girl held out a hand. I really don't want to... but oh well. Yas shook the girl's hand with a firm hand shake and let go. Yas bit his lip. Really? I don't look like a threat? Shows what they know. "Well, Ian, the way I tried to find you is like the way I try to find fish..." He didn't really quite go into further detail as it might have sound like what he was going to do.
He noticed the embarrassed look on his face and had to sympathize with him. "Look... Don't jump the gun next time. We all make mistakes. Just let it go, won't ya'?." After hearing Ian's question to the the Skoll siblings, he wanted to add something to what he said, "Just so we're clear, we're not part of any army. We're just travelers." As if that might add the whole being neutral aspect that might make a difference to the question.

¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤ Dieviente shrugged to Ian's question, "Unless we can avoid it. We haven't seen anything in awhile; been suspiciously quiet lately. Well, until you two came along. Sorry for jumping you. But we just have to be sure." Answering Yas' comment of their non-army affiliation as well. Dievelkis nodded, "I am sorry too. For my sister's ignorance." He added with a straight face. Dieviente fumed, "YES WELL ANYWAY... Where are you guys headed?" She asked curiously, mildly interested since nobody had been around in awhile. ¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤ Where We Are: Kamiden Woods

Ian simply nodded when Yas told him to drop it. The boy slightly smiled when the brother of the two apologized for his sister. She didn't really do anything other than an awkward flirting pose.
The subject switched to their destination. Ian really didn't have anywhere specific in mind, he wasn't sure about Yas though. The man probably wouldn't want to hang to long with Ian by the sound of his slight annoyance of the kid.
"Um, well honestly I didn't have any place in mind. I only know the places of this territory from what I learned in classes. I can't actually speak for Yas either. I'm sure he has different plans."The boy said trying to remember what all places were in this kingdom. "I'm pretty sure I heard there was a town nearby these woods named after a cute mythical creature that was part raccoon and part dog. I think Tanuki City? That sounds like a nice place. I could always go there and rest a while and see if there's anything useful I can do there. Like get a high important job or something!" Ian said getting his hopes up. He knew he had to try to make himself useful somehow, unlike how his parents always told him, so surely a city would have plenty of things he could do. Although Ian never really knew much about the city itself, or it's dangers.

Yas furrowed his brow, "Of course I'm still coming along, or I would have gone back with you in tow against your will so that your parents can further be the bane of your existence. But what can I say? I'm a nice guy." After hearing Ian's answer, he shrugged, "Any idea is a good idea to me.."
He looked at the two, "Nobody just asks someone where they're going without wanting to come along too. Will you guys be joining us, or will you be busy guarding this forest? Seem kinda' boring here if you ask me." He leaned against a tree crossing his arms.

¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤ Dieviente clapped her hands together happily, "Yes, it's deathly boring here. I wouldn't mind a little adventure! Not like anything happens here anyway, a small trip wouldn't be too much trouble." She turned to her brother to see if they could go; even though her personality made her seem rebellious, she would never just leave without her brother's permission. Dievelkis frowned, they had never left the forest before, but maybe it was all the more reason to go. How dangerous could a place named after a giant raccoon be? lolz. "I guess we'll go. No point in staying here every moment of the day." He nodded slightly, still unable to ignore the gnawing feeling in the back of his mind. Ian smiled and did a small fist pump in the air. He now had his own team to travel with. Even though he really didn't know much of the others, and barely knew Yas, the teen was glad to have company.
Before they would head out though, Ian needed to take care of his bloody forehead wound, even though it was a small wound. He quickly sat down and pulled some Leech Seeds out of his jacket pocket. He picked one out and placed it on the ground. Ian then put his palm over it and focused some of his nature magic. The seed grew roots above ground that quickly dove into the dirt and a few seconds later little vines with suction-like pods on them sprang out of the top of the seed. The vines quickly grappled around Ian's hand as kept focus of his magic. The vines began to glow a little and the gash on Ian's forehead began to heal up and soon nothing was left but dried blood on his head. The seed then retracted it's roots and vines and just sat on the ground. Ian picked it up and put it with the rest of the seeds in his front pocket.
"There, ready to go." Ian said with a nervous chuckle and rubbed his now healed forehead. The adventurers were off to a new town outside of the woods.

¤ ¤ ☼ ¤ ¤ The two siblings nodded as they seemed to all agree to go to this strange city. After Ian had healed himself they were on their way to Tanuki City. Dieviente went ahead of her brother and he followed behind, being the last to leave the forest. The nagging feeling still there in his mind.
