Creating A herd:
Please follow all soquili rules on creating herds.
To create your herd you will need a leader and several members. You will also need to create a totem pole. Once you have the necessary items, please pm this mule: HerdsOfTheKawani with the name of your Herd. There is also a fee of 2,500 gold to create the forum. (This is simply what gaia charges) Just donate the 2.5k to the guild, it'll tell us who has donated and how much.
Once we have the gold and necessary information, your herd subforum will be created using the title of your herd. You may then post all of your necessary information and do with it as you like. Some people prefer to create a mule to run their herd with, but this is not necessary.
Joining A Herd:
Each herd will have it's own rules and requirements for joining. You will need to contact the herd leader if you fit the qualifications of the herd.
Please keep in mind, not all herds are open to joining and not all soquili are suited for all herds. If your soquili is rejected from a herd, simply look for a different one.
Travel Between Herds:
While it is unusual for soquili to join more than one herd, they may visit other herds as long as members of both herds are okay with this. This may simply be to visit friends or relatives. However, if a herd does NOT allow outsiders, please be considerate and obey their wishes. Each herd will vary.
Maintaining A herd:
We do ask that herds try to be somewhat active. Just a post every now and then to let us know that you are still interested. Herds that are inactive for more than six months will be contacted to see if they are still active. After one year of inactivity herds will be disbanded and all threads within the herd will be moved to an Archived forum. Please keep up on your herds, we really don't want to disband them.
Every one or two weeks (depending on activity), an announcement will be sent out with current herd events. If your herd has a ritual or a gathering coming up, you may advertise it here. Looking for new members? We can send out a notice! Just send a pm to the mule with the information you would like listed in the announcement and it will be added in.
