KazeRin Aoi the Crossdresser Nah. Everytime I drink tea it makes my heart hurt. sad Does Canada have Canadian Mist Whiskey? We have Canadian Club whiskey... no Canadian Mist, though. I prefer Crown Royal, personally. HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE CANADIAN MIST? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Mist It says it's from Canada. sad And Crown Royal is ******* too expensive. Costs like 30 bucks for a 750ML bottle where a bottle of Vodka has the same strength at 1.75L and only costs 11.99$ at most places I go to. (Walmart, Lowes, Albertsons).

Little update. Can I just ******** I WANT A DRINK!!!!!
The days are so frickin' long and time goes by so slow and I can't fall asleep at night because I get so itchy and paranoid. I miss bein' drunk. xp
I keep tellin' myself "just one night won't hurt" but that's what made me go back on it last time, so I'm still dry.

Well...that lasted about 2 weeks, so I guess that was somewhat successful. I was doin' pretty good, minus the thinkin' about alcohol 24/7. Then my parents gave me the keys to their car and told me to drive to the local liquor store to buy 'em booze...I just couldn't resist.
So yeah. Only had a six pack tonight. Hopefully this was my only relapse. xp

I only stick to vodka 40% ABV and my liquor store is Walmart since it's cheapest. Got a 1.75L bottle of vodka from there a few weeks ago that was only like 10.29$ and where I went to Lowes (the only other freaken grocery store in Alamogordo) and got a bottle of vodka of 1.75L for the magic price of 11.99$. 11.99$ is the magic price I will get for vodka but walmart sold it a few weeks ago for 10.29$ or something. sad But yeah I WILL NOT pay more than 11.99$ for a 1.75L bottle of vodka.

Luckily my tolerance has gone down, so I got really hungover the next day from just the six pack. I guess that's a good sign, then.

So drank again tonight. Again, not much, but enough to get drunk with my newly low tolerance. After a long week of workin', I wanted to relax for a while, so I feel like it was fine.

Alcoholics Anonymous, sweetie...I know, it sounds cheesey, and ineffective, but I'm telling you. If you really want to quit drinking, find AA meetings. There are people there who are willing come to pick you up for meetings and everything, I will guarantee it. You have to be sincere though. If you have the right state of mind, you will find your solution there; I promise. It will be a battle for a long time, but just know..AA really will help, it's not a joke. Don't forget this.

I would feel weird doin' that, because I feel like there are many other people out there that need that sort of thing way more than I do. I'd feel weird, based on what I've heard about it, since you gotta talk about yourself and stuff, and drinkin' really hasn't affected my life too badly so far. In fact, I got the idea for my thesis from drinkin'. xd

Thank you Semok,
Your sobriety got me a pink magical giftbox.
Or at least opening your thread gave it to me.
Signed,
Cool4

*Drinks wine* *Looks around guiltily* You don't really have to talk about yourself in AA, Semok. People will "introduce" topics and give a brief description of why they brought up the topic and what kind of advice they are looking for. But, really, you can just go and soak in information without saying a word, indefinitely, if you want. People are really friendly there though, and chances are that you will get sucked into talking to many other people, and like it. I know this because I have gone to many of their meetings as an alternative to NA (Narcotics Anonymous). NA really helped me with other "issues" and I'm proud to say that those issues are no longer a problem. AA has very simliar concepts for alcohol that could help you, if you wanted.
Unfortunately, I should not be drinking, theoretically, but it hasn't lead to anything "worse" in a year and a half; and I don't see it going that way anytime soon. ANNNNND...I enjoy it, so.. whee Maybe you could do the opposite, and like, not drink, but smoke pot or something. *Shrugs* blaugh

I just find that I can't stay motivated long enough to quit, since it feels nice to be a drunk, helps me sleep, and I've never really had any bad experiences, other than the time I tried to jump off the fourth floor of a buildin'. xd
I mean, half the time I know it's bad for me and no good will come from it and I should be more healthy so I'll feel better and all that, but then the other half of the time I realize that life is short, and livin' to be old isn't the point, it's livin' life and havin' fun while you can, and I tend to have fun when I drink. xd
