You are the apple...
For all my fellow Whovians out there, feel free to discuss the show. Classic Who, New Who, companions anything = )
Im so far liking this new companion, Clara. I didnt much like Amy, or the girl before her (cant even remember her name, thats how much I didnt care for her). Donna was amazing and Rose was great too = )
As for the Doctors, Eccleston was good, Tennent was incredible, and Matt has been pretty awesome as well (nearly up there with David).
As far as Classic Who goes, I've been trying to watch the episodes in order, but the Divx player has been screwing up on me sometimes so I cant always get through n episode in a timely fashion. I'm still within the first 20 episodes of the entire series.
and I am your core.

You are the apple...
12th Doctor reveal starting in just 5 mins! Watch it live on BBC1, BBCAmerica, Space (Canada), and ABCTV (Australia)!
I'm really excited to see who it is, I do hope whoever it is embodies the Doctor very well!

Donna was the main companion before Amy. There was the year of specials between them, but there hadn't been a continuous companion for them, just people the Doctor ran into, plus Wilfred. Also, I recommend this site for the first four Doctors. The playlists are from newest to oldest, so start with the bottom of page four and go up from there.

Martha, that was her name. Was she before Donna or Amy?
And I'll have to check out that site, thanks = )

Martha was between Rose and Donna.
And I should make a slight correction. Those playlists go through the Third Doctor and a little bit of the Fourth. I'm still on the Third, myself, and so have not yet found a site to reliably watch the rest.

I know the site. That's one of the ones I use for New Who.

I'm lucky enough to have my friend's Netflix to use, but I will have to use one of the websites I have bookmarked for the last season of New Who, as I haven't gotten around to it and it's not on Netflix emotion_donotwant
It's good to meet more Whovians! emotion_c8

★★☆I'm so excited for the 50th anniversary and the Christmas special. I can't wait to see what Moffat throws at us this time. As much as I hate to see Matt Smith go, I can't wait to meet Capaldi's doctor. I'm still working my way through Classic Who. I'm still on the First Doctor. My main issue with watching it is finding the time to. I'm deployed right now, so I'm lucky if I have time to watch an episode a day.
As far as companions, I'm still a little apprehensive about Clara. I think I like her, but I haven't gotten over Amy and Rory yet. I loved the Ponds. Donna was incredible. She and the Doctor were pretty well matched, personality wise. Martha always annoyed me. She was too whiny, and though there were things that I admired about her character, overall she's been my least favorite New Who companion. I miss Rose, but I understand why she had to leave to help the Doctor's character grow. She and the Doctor had amazing chemistry and I think she's one of the main reasons New Who got off to such a great start. And then there's River, and there are no words for how much I love Professor Song. I know she's not really a 'companion' per se, but I love her all the same. "Live each day as if you're the protagonist of the Earth."
