In my effort to keep my FP pretty even across the boards (I've just reached Summer 27 year 1), I've been giving Neil 1.5-2 star normal milk on a daily basis. I stopped for about 10 days because I was only watering crops & foraging before sleeping to kill time. When I came back and tried to give him milk, he responded like this:

I don't want to marry him, but I'd like him to not want to put a boot up my arse. XD

Have you checked any of the forums and threads at Fogu? I'm paranoid and talk to everyone I see on a daily basis even if I don't give them any gifts. It helps I believe.

Also nice 3DS emotion_kirakira Is that one of the XL's?

Thanks! It's a pink 3DS XL that I got for a steal at Gamestop because it came in "used". (Read: "fell off the truck")

And yeah, I managed to get him to quit being Allen #2 with a few days of chatting (With him going "I'm busy leave me alone").

yeah you have to talk to him again before you can give him presents. and try giving him fodder biggrin or the moon drop flowers, he likes those alot

Even if you don't feel like gifting them, you shouldn't ignore (as in, don't talk to) anyone for a week or more. Otherwise, they'll get crankier and refuse friendly gestures.

I'm totally bad for that! I get so wrapped up on my farm and currently trying to make the stupid turtles in the Southern land my friend that I didn't talk to pretty much anyone for over 2 weeks.

They got over it. BUT SERIOUSLY! A little understanding guys, I'm the only farmer here!!
