Trouble at Krane's Lab - Clara Devict“Ah! Dr. Devict welcome to Orre Pokemon Laboratories. I hope your flight went well?” His face had a genuine smile, something common among Professors. This one in fact was Dr. Krane a young professor from the Orre Region.
“No not at all in fact. I used a claydoll, its much quicker” the younger miss Clara said with a cheerful glee “Anyways here is the sample test you wanted. The Theory you published was correct and confirmed for the Kalos strand of Pokerus, here are the results. Its odd that Pokerus has different requirements for each region and in fact like you thought the Kalos blend was found growing mostly in Flowers.”
“Thank you” her replied “Its not as easy for me to cross continents as you and your team.” Krane would rub the back of his neck in what Clara would recognize as a familiar anxiety, being her own unhealthy relationship with anxiety.
“Dr.Krane” She questioned resting her arms in a crossed position “Something got you bothered?”
“Well you see Doctor, over the past few days a new disease began to spread effecting rock types only. Now it was easy enough to cure but to my embarrassment my notes have disappeared. At first I swore I was just misplacing them, so I made up a second batch and this time I sealed them in my locked desk. Gone again. If I don't get this cure to the centers pokemon may die, and yet I'm absolutely certain that someone has stolen my cure.” The professor would quickly turn and grab clara by the arms, causing her to stiffen like a board, Gripping tightly. “Clara Devict will you please help me. Pokemon will die... and well I'm horrible at battling so will you help me?”
Squirming out of his grasp looking daunted at his outburst Clara calmed herself from a inevitable panic attack. Luckily she still found the nerve to speak “Umm, alright. Sudden. But I was already curious you asked me to come here in the person. Though what kind of Snagem would I be if I left those pokemon to die.”
Turning on her heel Clara would waltz out the door running attack plans in her head. The hallway to the lab was mostly bare of life, filled with scientific plaques and doctor-its. That was until she found herself in the center of a masterpice of glass and foliage. The large room was glowing from the reflecting light coming from every angle shimmering off leaves and petals. The room was grand and a spectacle, she had to stop and just smell them. Then an Idea struck her.
Later that night
Under the blanket of night Clara Devict moves in the shadows, her plan and plot in motion the predator waits. It wouldn't take long as in the dark another shadow skulked. The shadow was definetly a person, an obvious assumption, but more to Clara's hypothesis the thief had a bright green lights about head height. Night vision. It only made sense when someone had to sneak in without getting noticed. Krane being a live in Prof would probably take notice to lights being turned on during the night.
Closer. Closer. Almost there. “NOW”
Clara wailed from inside the glass building. Suddely a burst of sunlight would explode into the air. Nallah, Clara's nincada, was waiting on the roof ready to blast her sunny day into the air.
The theif now in site could be identified as a member of team Cipher, also could be easy seen in a lot of pain. The woman on the ground was letting out a screach holding her eye's underneath her visor, “Night Vision deactivate, deactivate!” The green light would dim, letting the Cipher member let out a painful sigh of relief.
Walking out of the door Clara would throw her hands on her hips, “Now you under the control of Team Snagem, cease your crime immediately”
“Newbie huh?” The Cipher member scoffed standing up “A little lesson for future times. Tie up your captive before you monologue.”
Now looming over Clara the Cipher would raise her hand with the back of her hand exposed, And smack. Clara was sent to the ground with a red cheek, “h-hey that wa...” Clara's voice would begin to shrink to indecipherable murmurs.
“HA! Not so tough now huh? Poor for you. Oh well, there is a reason your snagem.” The Cipher peon would champion her win strutting past the crying girl.
“You know what I am snagem and I will act like it!” Clara shouted back on her feet. In her clenched fist a pokeball would be empty hanging.
“What you intend on doing catching my pokemon? I won't allow you.” The Girl in the grey tight suit said in a explosion of fury, “Just try it... b***h”
Ooh now Clara at her boiling point, this chick thinks, no this chick, no this asshat of a cipher grunt was not going to push her around today. “This isn't a unused pokeball its my already used one. Terra!”
Out of the dark of the lab a Dieno would aggressively growl pushing back the Cipher peon into the open with Clara.
“Alright come one lets do this!” Clara huffed at the helmet wearing jerk.
A few seconds later and with a burst of light a little Teddiursa would be sitting there sucking thumb as the pokemon often did. Actually it seemed like it wasn't readying for battle at all, in fact it was almost intentional.
A gleem of light twinkle from the bears baby doll eye's making terra feel bad about growling. “No terra it's a move don't fall for it! Use dragon breath!” Terra quickly snapped out of feeling bad as blue fire expelled from her gaping maw. Flames danced over the bear scorching the bear, However most pokemon by now would of rolled or fought the effects this Teddiursa was barely moving.
“What have you done to my Pokemon?” The Cipher cried out.
“Its called paralysis” Clara said adjusting her glasses “A surge of energy temporarily temps your Pokemon nerves forcing ever muscle to tense up slow the creature greatly.
“Why you! Teddiursa use Thrash and d-” The peon would be cut off by the boastful tone of the green wearing Snagem.
“SuperPower”
Terra would bounce in the air slamming into the Bear thrashing about her head in a rampant destructive motion dropping the Pokemon where it stood.
“Fine then” The girl tossed down a second ball, now a Slakoth primed and ready, well as ready as a lazy piece of fur can, “Brick Break”
The Slakoth would swing its noodle like arms in a downwards motion, cracking across terras head. Still tired and weak from her last attack, She fell curling into a ball before returning to her device.
“What do you have now?” The Cipher girl cocked.
“You forgot about my friend on the roof didn't you?” Clara said pointing a finger in the air.
An audible “huh” came from the grunt as she looked up seeing the bug crawling on the glass over watching the entire encounter.
“Thanks for the light show Nallah but would you please use Solar beam?” Clara sung as Nallah the nincada began to store energy from the artificial sun she made. A force of energy swirled and swerved above her head, crackling as snake like flames danced around the ball adding to its grandness.
“Wait no no no no.” The cipher yelled as the pulsating ball turned to a beam of pure sun power pieing her pokemon. Throwing it across the area into one of the fences lining the pathway.
“How did you defeat me its not that easy, I'm a grand member of team Cipher and your just a snagem!” She wailed holding her Slakoth.
“Your right I am a snagem and thats why I kicked your butt!” Clara said smacking some cuffs around her wrist and another to the fence.
“Wait huh? How!”
“You lose just wait here for the police in the morning. Have a good night now! Don't misbehave.” She said as her pokemon returned a beam of light flashed her out of exsistance.
