Okay, I was wrong. I was studying volume eight passionately because vol. 9 is being released on wednsday and I noticed something. Yes, they WERE Gendou's gloves, but it was not Gendou himself who shot Kaji. IT WAS RITSUKO!!!! There is a shadow of half of the back of the person who did it. With the short spiky hair and upturned chinese-style collar just resting above a lab coat...it was that b***h, I TELL YOU! When she says..."Ah, le petit chat est mort", I highly doubt that she's talking about her crap mamy's cat...she's talking about our beautiful (and now dead, thnx to her) Ryoji-kun! And then she's all crazy-like and tries to choke Rei w/a tourniquet! She's on a killing spree! But, why did she do it, you ask? Kaji was causing too many problems for the NERV and for her beloved Gendou; she knew that Kaji eventually planned to kill Gendou because he is a crazy psycho a** jockey...either that or Gendou himself told her to do it, therefore making it so that BOTH of them did it.
There, now that that is out of my system...I will mourn Kaji's loss in peace, finally knowing who did the dirty deed.
