Elora is bright, bubbly and vivacious, quite a contrast to much of Isambard’s entourage. She runs the Rose Garden, a high class brothel in the upper class residential district of Albion. Being in a position to be privy to the secrets of the wealthy and powerful she keeps Isambard up to date with the undercurrents running through the city.
History
Little is known of Elora’s early life or how she came to be. She came to Albion as part of a travelling show. Master Majolica’s World Famous Collection of Curiosities. Her act ‘The Clockwork Girl.’ Outwardly she looks like a normal woman, her hair, her skin, expressions and movement. No one would know any different. Though inside she is a machine, intricately constructed of cogs and gears, to function her clockwork heart must be wound every so often, she wears the key around her neck.
She was discovered by Madame Victoria, a brothel owner and advisor of Industry looking for something a little more exotic to amuse her high profile clients.
In Elora she got more than she bargained for and a year after the girl came into her possession met an untimely end to an unknown illness. Elora assumed her place as the madame of the brothel, she brought the building up to fashion, improved the quality and intelligence of the girls and ensured that they made themselves famous among the industrialists of Albion.
