[Earth Release]

• Earth Military Movement
This jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited amount time (1 post for Genin, 2 for Chuunin, 3 for Jounin+), traveling about 50 feet per post. While in the ground, the user can see through the earth as if it were transparent, but can still distinguish all of the features of the earth, rocks, holes/tunnels, burrowed animals, etc... and they can see up through the surface of the earth to locate their opponents. This field of vision extends up to a 25 foot radius around the user, but you still need to turn or look down to see things behind or under you.

• Earth Clone
After completing the necessary hand seals, the ground around the user rises up in a column to form a clone of the user. It is powerful, possessing the same strength of the user, but moves at half the user's speed. The clone's defense is what really sets it apart from others though, as it requires two hits will destroy.

• Dust Clone
A simple bunshin jutsu that uses the dust and small particles of dirt found everywhere but the cleanest of places. By using these materials, the user is able to form a clone. The clone itself cannot attack but can pose as a good distraction since, once it is hit, the dust and dirt particles it is made out of will burst open and enter the enemy's eyes, mouth and nose. The clone can be dismissed at will. This clone has the same speed and evasion of the user.

• Rock Shield
When using this jutsu, the user reaches into the ground and lifts up a giant piece of earth, using it as a shield. At Genin, the shield is 5 ft. tall, 5 ft. wide and 1 foot thick, but for every rank afterward, the shield grows an additional 5 feet in height and width and thickens by 1 ft. (but it also increases the cost of the technique appropriately, C-rank cost for C-rank size, etc...)

• Stone Bracers
After performing the necessary hand seals, the shinobi can rub dirt onto his arms and/or legs and harden it to create very durable, defensive-oriented bracers that add extra protection when using the arms to block. The chakra that is infused in the bracers help to soften the blows of any physical attacks, making them very useful for Taijutsu users or to defend against an onslaught of upper body blows. This increases your effective toughness for attacks made to the arms/legs by 1 rank, but each bracer can only absorb 1 attack before crumbling.

• Mud Moat
This jutsu converts the area surrounding the user into a deep and murky moat full of mud. The moat is at least 6 feet deep with a 4 foot radius at the very least (6 feet radius for Genin, 8 feet for Chuunin, 10 feet for Jounin, 15 feet for Sannin/Kage). Due to the nature of the mud, water walking can not be performed within the moat. Directly beneath the user, a circular area with a diameter measuring 1½ feet remains as solid, dry land for the user to stand on.

• Swift Earth
When performing this jutsu, the shinobi places his/her hands on the ground and causes it to move rapidly away as if it were a conveyor belt. The area affected is a straight line 3 ft. in width and up to 30 ft. in length.

• Stone Shuriken
This technique is widely used in situations where the user runs out of projectiles. By picking up dirt from the ground and infusing it with chakra, the dirt molds together and takes the form of a shuriken.

• Pebble Barrage
The user releases a surge of chakra that is capable of lifting small stones and pebbles off the ground and sends them flying towards the enemy. Only small stones up to the size of a grape can be sent flying and objects too small, such as sand, will not be carried by the chakra. Seeing how all this jutsu does is launch small pebbles and such at the opponent, this technique does little to no damage. It is better suited to distracting and annoying the target than to actually damage him/her. It’s often used as a distraction while the user escapes.

• Ground Shaking
When using this technique, the user sends chakra into the ground and causes it to shake. The user can determine the area of the ground that is affected by this jutsu. The magnitude of shaking is rather minor, though, and is only capable of slightly unbalancing the opponent when the technique is used on firm ground. If the jutsu is used on an area of infirm ground, it is possible to cause the opponent to fall. This jutsu is usually used for distractions.

• Earth Tremor Sense
By touching the ground, the user can sense tremors or vibrations in the ground. These tremors indicate movement, allowing the user to sense the approximate number of people moving as well as their general speed and direction. The range of detection changes by rank, 1/4 of a mile for Genin, 1/2 of a Mile for Chuunin, 3/4 of a mile for Sp. Jounin, a mile for Jounin, 2 miles for Sannin/Kage.

• Ram Head
A basic earth protection jutsu where a small, curved wall about the size of the creator is created, with a 3 ft depth and 1 ft thickness all around. It can deflect shuriken/kunai and one fire jutsu up to C-rank, but is completely destroyed by any raiton jutsu D-rank or above. The wall partially covers an opponent's flank as well, forming in a 180 degree forward arc in the direction the user is facing. For every rank, the wall grows 3 feet by 3 feet, gains a foot of depth and 6 inches of thickness.

• Earth Mound Creation
This jutsu causes the earth beneath the caster to rise and create a mound with a height of at least 10 feet and with the caster on the very top. The mound can soak up water like a sponge, making it extremely useful when trying to defend against water jutsus. The mound remains for 5 posts. It can hold a C-rank amount of water before turning to mud.

• Mud Interceptor
The performer of this jutsu causes small mud balls to shoot out of the ground, deflecting and countering any projectiles. This attack, however, has no effect on people other than soiling their clothes. It is often used during friendly mud fights.

• Stone Breastplate
This technique works using the same principles as the Ishi Yoroi no Ude technique, utilizing a buffered layer of chakra between two plates of hardened earth to provide extra defense. This increases the effective toughness for attacks made to the chest by 1/2 a rank, and crumbles after 3 hits.

• Mud Weights
After performing the necessary hand seals and slamming their hands into the ground, four spheres of mud shoot out of the earth toward your opponent at an accelerated speed (typically targeting their limbs in). In this form, the mud spheres stick to whatever they strike, and through the chakra embedded in the mud through the technique is made incredibly heavy. This effect lasts for 1 post, after which the mud dries/hardens... though the user is still stuck inside the heavy/hardened and dried mud. Each mud sphere individually weighs about 250 lbs, making it nearly impossible to move any limb or portion of the body the mud weights stick to, slowing the opponent down significantly.

[C-Rank]

• Mud River
Flooding the earth with his chakra, the user converts part of the floor/ground that you and your opponent(s) are standing on into a raging avalanche of mud and earth. The avalanche causes the target to lose their footing and forces them to slide along with the mudslide. The mudslide begins at the user's feet and flows away from them. The river is about 7 feet wide and travels forward up to about 100 ft.

• Boulder Throw
This technique focuses chakra into a large boulder near the user and sends it flying towards an enemy. While the large size of the boulder increases the strength of the impact, it also makes the attack easier to dodge than other stone-based jutsus that use smaller rocks. Only one rock can be thrown at a time. However, if the user has Improved Chakra Control, they can perform this technique much quicker and can toss the boulder with greater accuracy and speed. Those who are especially good with Doton, or simply offensive techniques can throw much larger boulders, or multiple boulders (up to three).

• Earth Holding
This technique allows the user to manipulate the earth below an opponent's feet to rise up and grab hold of both of the target's legs. Once it connects, the earth surrounds the limb, hardens, and can only be physically destroyed by taijutsu techniques of C-rank or above. The disadvantage of the technique is that the earth rises up slowly, allowing a well-trained shinobi to easily notice and dodge the trap. As a result, this jutsu should only be used when the target is distracted, or otherwise restrained. Furthermore, this technique can only control natural soil (ex: no rock, no sand), so it is impossible to use in buildings with worked stone or in areas without dirt.

• Sword Exploder
After forming the necessary hand seals, the user thrusts their hand into the earth, their chakra loosening the soil as it molds the earth into a sword. Pulling the Earth Sword out of the ground, the earth instantly hardens to form a large sword which may not be as sharp as a real sword, but is rather strong, making it great for defense and delivering heavy blunt attacks. The blade itself can survive for about five direct strikes, but can also be 'charged' with a D-rank of chakra and thrown to act as a large frag grenade. As soon as the charged blade strikes a solid surface (an enemy's body, weapon, the ground, a tree, etc...) it bursts spreading sharp/heavy fragments of earth in every direction, which could badly injure an enemy.

• Volcanic Earth Clone
Using superheated earth mixed with natural lava streams deep below the surface, this jutsu creates a single clone of more than impressive strength and defense. Like it's Earth Clone predecessor, it requires two strikes to dismiss, but it differentiates itself in other ways. The Volcanic Earth Clone possesses the same strength as the user, but also produces extreme heat as it attacks, manifesting itself in a blast of fire when it strikes a target. The clones' speed is still lacking, being one rank lower than the user's own speed ranking, but to make up for that, the clone is immune to kunai/shuriken strikes and will not be dismissed or destroyed by them.

• Quicksand
This technique is a simple yet effective skill to trap the opponent. Using chakra, the user is able to create a pool of quicksand in the ground. The pool is circular with a diameter of about 4 feet. It is a perfect jutsu for setting traps in that it can be instantly created directly under an opponent's feet. Using this technique, the user's feet will be under the earth, caught in the quicksand in less than two seconds, giving them only a very short window to escape before their feet are swallowed.

• Earth Dragon Blast
In this jutsu, a large, mud structure appears up from the ground in the shape of a dragon’s head. The dragon's maw then opens wide, displaying a swirling mass of energy at the back of it's throat which instantly shoots up to 5 earth/mud “cannon balls" towards the target at high speeds. Due to the high speed and weight of the mud/earth balls, contact with one can cause heavy bruising, and multiple hits can break bones if striking the same spot.

• Instantaneous Body Skill
An ability which allows the user to transport from one area to another easily, enabling the shinobi to travel vast stretches of land almost instantaneously. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user sinks into the earth creating ripples in the ground as if it were water until the user is completely submersed underground. Upon arrival of their desired location, the earth yet again begins to ripple like water as the user ascends from the ground. the process of sinking into/ascending from the ground takes about three seconds. In order to travel to a specified location, the user has to have been there before and sense the location with their chakra, which makes the distance limited to about 5 miles. The user cannot directly shunshin into or out of a village, but can shunshin within a village if desired. This jutsu can only be used to escape combat if neither shinobi has attacked or defended for a post.

• Shield of Stone
The user performs the required hand seals and then pushes their arm into the ground, causing the earth/stone around it to shape and harden. Pulling their arm out of the earth/stone the user produces a large round shield, about 3 ft. in diameter which is affixed to the user's forearm, leaving their hand free and maneuverable to perform future hand seals. The shield has a great amount of defensive capability, but will only last for so long. The shield will deflect any and all projectile weapons, such as kunai, shuriken, hari, and arrows without issue. Additionally, the shield is capable of deflecting a variety of ninjutsu, specifically those of a projectile nature. The shield can defend against 2 C-rank technique, or 2 D-rank techniques before crumbling.

• Stone Spear
Typically an Offensive jutsu, this technique could also be used defensively in the right situation. By using chakra to control the earth below and around them, the user transforms it into about 10 sharp spears which shoot up out of the ground in any orientation/direction desired within 10 feet. These spears can either block an opponent's movement, or can be pulled from the earth and hurled at the opponent. Individual spears can be lifted out of the ground and thrown without requiring more chakra, but otherwise the spears remain stationary in the direction/orientation they were summoned. For an additional D-rank of chakra, the user can force their chakra into the earth to then propel the spears outward, sending them flying in a straight line a distance of about 50 feet.

• Rising Mud Wall
A defensive jutsu in which the user creates a thick wall of mud and earth to defend against an oncoming. After forming the necessary handseals and placing their hands to the ground, the user is capable of creating a 15 ft. wide, 15 ft. tall, 5 ft. thick wall in front of the user. The wall rises up out of the ground very quickly and appears as a shifting wall of mud which retains it's size and shape, but appears to be fluid with mud dripping down all sides. Any object striking the wall sinks into the wall, but quickly becomes immobile as mud begins to surround it, holding it tight. Removing an object from the wall, whether it be a sword, or a limb requires a post dedicated to removing the object. If a user's entire body is stuck, the victim can escape by thrashing for a post to get out the nearest side, but suffers a temporary drain in strength and speed for a round. This Mud wall also protects against nearly all ninjutsu C-rank and below, but Katon ninjutsu of C-rank or above will harden the wall, making it breakable.

• Earth Dome
Another defensive technique, this technique expands on the Ohitsuji Kashira technique to create an earthen defense which completely envelops and encloses the user, protecting them from all sides. The dome is about 7 ft. tall at it's center and has a 10 ft. diameter, with 3 ft. thick walls. This makes for an incredibly strong defensive structure that will block mostly any technique B-rank or below. The technique however locks the user inside and leaves them without any light as well. As such, it's typically only used as a temporary defense, which most Doton practitioners are quick to escape from as soon as possible. If constantly assaulted, the dome only lasts for 3 posts.

• Explosive Stone Body Clone
While still swimming in the earth, the user is capable of creating a stone replica of themselves which they can project up through the surface of the earth anywhere within 50 feet of their current position. This Stone Body Clone cannot move, but it can be shaped in anyway you see fit, such as making it look like it's performing an attack or meditating, or whatever you want. For the next 5 posts, any attack striking the Stone Body Clone will cause the chakra charged within the structure to explode with the same intensity as an explosive note while spreading chunks of debris within 20 ft. of the blast.

[B-Rank]

• Shockwave
This technique unleashes large amounts of chakra into the ground to create shockwaves that are aimed towards an opponent. The force of the shockwave is enough to knock down multiple opponents and send them flying. However, because the waves travel and are transmitted through the ground, this technique can be easily avoided if the opponent has enough time to simply jump over it. Even with that handicap, though, it is still a useful technique to alter landscapes, knock down objects, etc.

• Stone Needle Skin
- Nin/Tai
The Stone-nin’s body becomes entirely covered by earthen armor that has very sharp and durable needles. The armor itself isn't very thick, but it still is highly discouraging to any taijutsu user to hit someone using this technique. While using this jutsu, the mobility of the performer is highly limited.

• Chasm Creation
When this jutsu is performed the stone-nin places his/her hands on the ground and focuses chakra into the earth. From the power of the chakra flowing into it, the earth splits apart and a chasm is created. The longer that the shinobi focuses chakra into the earth, the wider and deeper the chasm becomes. At first it is 10 feet deep and 3 feet wide, then it is 20 feet deep and 6 feet wide, and it continues increases by a depth of 10 feet and a width of 3 feet as long as it is continued. This is very useful when creating a protective barrier for someone else.

• Rock HIll Creation
A large hill made of rock is created. The slope is very steep and made of slippery shale rock. It is useful as a defensible platform to perform other techniques from. For every rank, the hill goes 15 feet taller.

• Mud Slide Barrier
A defensive jutsu in which the user creates a thick wall of mud and earth to defend against an attack. For every rank, the wall of mud is twenty feet wide and fifteen feet high.

• Spinning Peak
After either Earth Release: Earth Mound Creation or Rock Hill Creation is used, this technique may be performed to cause the mound of earth formed from either of the two previous techniques to spin rapidly, making standing it practically impossible to stand on it. Only the very peak, where the user is standing, remains immobile.

• Stone Pillar
A stone pillar lifts a shinobi high into the air, away from combat. The pillar comes equipped with small stone needles that shoot outwards when it is touched. The creator of the stone pillar has a limited amount of control over it and is able to move it very slowly. This technique is often used to increase the distance between a defender and an attacker. The pillar can rise up to 30 feet into the air.

[A-Rank]

• Earth Dragon God Blast
In this advanced jutsu, the user slaps his/her open palm into the ground. The ground will begin to shake as a large, bronze dragon head peaks out of the ground and roars to reveal its lengthy ,stone body. The dragon will then dive back underground, traveling through the ground towards the opponent. When it finally reaches its target it will shoot up in full dragon form and smash into the opponent with an enormous amount force, exploding on contact. The explosion causes the dragon's bronze body to shatter, causing dangerous pieces of bronze shrapnel to shoot out in all directions.

• Clay Barrier Prison
This technique completely surrounds the opponent(s) in a prison made of clay or earth. The user is then able to absorb the enemy’s chakra through the walls. This chakra-absorption, however, only causes the victim(s) to feel slightly weaker. Once the opponent leaves the prison, he/she returns to the condition that they were in before being entrapped. Since the walls of the prison are infused with the user's chakra, the user is able to repair/regenerate any damage done to the barrier with his/her chakra.

• Living Burial Grounds
By performing a series of hand seals, the user can make the ground underneath the target come alive and split open. The earth will swallow the target like quicksand while a large gap is made to pull the target in. When the target is entirely underground, the ground grows solid again, leaving the target buried alive underground.

• Rock Clone
The pinnacle of Earth Clone techniques, the Rock Clone is made of solid rock reinforced with hardened minerals scattered within it which act as a lattice structure to give it even more durability while keeping it light enough to move freely. The nature of how the rock is formed make's it's outer armor immune to simple attacks such as Kunai, Shuriken, and regular sword strikes and is also Immune to Taijutsu strikes of C-rank and below. It's speed is equal to that of it's user and it's strength is one rank higher. The clone cannot transfer memories as the Kage Bunshin is capable of, but it can use one Doton ninjutsu of B-rank or below and continue fighting. Two well placed strikes are required to destroy this clone, but they must be attacks which are more powerful then it's immunities to be counted.

• Splitting Earth Force
- Nin/Tai
By slamming one’s open palms onto the ground to send chakra through the hands and deep into the earth, a huge chasm can be created and directed towards a target. The force of this jutsu can cause unstable grounds to completely collapse and will create a giant rift in the earth directly in front of the caster, changing the landscape while causing severe damage. For a large-scale destructive force, it is advised to use this technique with other shinobis.

• Swamp of the Underworld
This technique creates a large, viscous swamp underneath an opponent. The enemy is unable to move once trapped within the swamp. The swamp is also able to subdue any chakra effects, making it impossible to walk on with chakra.

• Sudden Earth Strike
A much more advanced version of the Earth holding technique, one of the differences between the two jutsus is the speed at which the earth rises. In fact, the speed of the advanced version is fast enough to catch most shinobis off-guard. Furthermore, instead of just grabbing an opponent’s leg, this technique can cause the earth to rise up and form an "arm" to strike the opponent from behind. Alternatively, a shinobi could also use this jutsu to cause the ground that the opponent is standing on to suddenly spring up, like an ejector or a catapult, and launch the opponent into the air. The durability of the controlled earth is close to that of a rock's. Thanks to this increase in strength, even taijutsu specialists should encounter difficulty in breaking out of this technique.

• Earth Plate Barrage
This powerful technique utilizes a large amount of chakra to lift up slabs of earth off of the ground and hurl them at the opponent while causing the earth in front of the user to crack and create rifts in the ground with a force greater than the Retsudo Tenshou. Being a ninjutsu, this jutsu uses chakra instead of brute strength to perform, unlike its taijutsu variations.

• Rock Avalanche
By molding chakra into the side of a mountain with this jutsu, an avalanche can be created. The avalanche will destroy everything in its path, even the user himself/herself is he/she happens to get caught in the avalanche as well (a very possible scenario). To use this technique the user must be near the side of a mountain.

• Stone Guard Creation
This technique creates a troop of semi-animate stone figures with large shields, tiger heads, and giant pikes. This group of stone monsters are as fast as a genin and can only fight as a single unit. The soldiers cannot stray more than 3 feet from one another. Furthermore, the performer of this jutsu must remain at the center of the formation or the soldiers will become immobile.

• Body of the Stone Warrior
- Nin/Tai
This jutsu causes the user to immerse himself/herself within the earth and then rise out of it covered in dirt. After doing so, the earth forms a giant, formidable, and extremely durable stone soldier. This stone body could almost be considered the user's second body, especially since the soldier has the same face as its creator. The soldier is usually at least 10 feet tall and is equipped with a large shield in one hand and a sword, spear, or pike in the other. The stone that the warrior consists of can be used to fuel other stone jutsus. As long as the stone body remains in contact with the ground, it can continuously replenish its supply of stone and heal itself of any damage done to its body. While this jutsu is used, the shinobi cannot move. The stone body can be destroyed by continuous, A-rank attacks. If the attacks are not continuous or do not completely destroy it in one hit, then the body will simply heal itself back to its original form.

• Rock Army Shield
Flat, defensive slabs of earth shoot out of the ground and form walls that guards the user and his/her allies. Up to four slabs of earth can be raised out of the ground, each slab able to protect up to one person. The user of this technique decides the position of the walls. For every rank the user advances, the range of this technique grows by 40 feet.

[S-Rank]

• Rock Finale
This jutsu uses up almost all of the shinobi’s chakra. It is highly destructive, and almost ascertains death. Rocks and debris materials, as well as chunks of the earth will continuously barrage at the opponent from all directions. As soon as each of the pieces of earth, rock, or debris approach the opponent, they will explode, causing a brutal destructive force with all the pieces exploding. Using this technique will use up all of the ninja's remaining chakra. This vast drain on the chakra forces the jutsu to be used extremely sparingly, even through the course of multiple battles, and will prevent the user from performing any other jutsus directly after its usage, often forcing him/her to somehow flee if there are multiple enemies.

• Giant Earth Wave
After a long series of seals, the user puts his hand on the ground and molds a massive amount of chakra into it. A large, tsunami size wave of earth and rock rises up in front of the user and crashes forward, doing immense damage to the landscape.

• Mountain Creation
A technique that literally changes the landscape, the user creates a small mountain with a height of about 750 ft. This mountain is made entirely of rock, dirt, and earth. When the mountain is created, it causes mass destruction to the area around it, ripping out trees and buildings from underneath. This exhausting technique may only be used in moderation. Jounins are only able to perform this jutsu when they are at full strength and have not used up any of their chakra. After performing this jutsu, a jounin will be too drained to use any other techniques until he/she gets some rest.

• Stone Shell
This technique protects allies with a three sided stone shell. Up to three of these defenses can be created at once within a diameter of 100 feet. This jutsu is basically an Army Shield technique with a wider scope of defense. This defense is near impenetrable by other attacks.

• Stone Castle Creation
A small fortress made of earth and potentially riddled with traps is created. After this jutsu is used, any trap-related earth jutsu only requires 1 seal to perform when using the materials of the fort. This jutsu is too tiring to be used regularly. The traps that can be used with the earth of the castle are simple (ex: collapsing ceilings, closing walls).

[Sand]

• Sand Collection
"Sand" is actually a loose term that can include any small particles that range from dust, to sediment, to any other incredibly small object. Needless to say, this means that, even though in incredibly small deposits, sand can be found anywhere. This jutsu allows one to gather that sand into one spot where it can be better used for other jutsu. As one's skill progresses the amount of sand they can collect and control also increases. In the case of jutsu that originate from a nearby source of sand, those jutsu instead originate from anywhere on the user's body.

[D-Rank]

• Sand Armor
The user creates a thin, although durable, armor of sand around their body by making the sand stick to their skin and clothes and then hardening it. It is not as powerful as the Sand Shield, but the armor can constantly be rebuilt. It uses up large amounts of stamina, and makes the user a lot heavier so they can only keep it on for 4 posts at a time before becoming overheated and exhausted. As the user becomes more experienced (advances in rank), they can use less sand to achieve the effect, as well as become more resistant to the effects of exhaustion. Once the armor is taken off, it takes 4 posts to cool down and recuperate. It can defend against other D-rank techniques, though water turns it to mud and causes it to crack and break away when hit.

• Sand Explosion
The user must be near a source of sand. Sand is gathered using chakra into a swirling ball that is hurled towards the opponent. Right before impact, the ball explodes into a group of rigid shards that can cut and sting their opponent.

• Sand Clone
Creates clones out of the sand. Uses small amount of chakra and requires the presence of sand to perform. It is fully functional, meaning it can attack and be attacked but it has the appearance of sand so it's useless to use as a distraction. The sand is dispersed when clone is defeated.

• Sand Rope
Makes a thin rope of sand that the user can propel from a source of sand towards his or her opponent. The rope wraps around the target and tightens itself firmly. The chakra in the rope deteriorates over time, gradually reducing the rope's strength.

• Sand Shuriken
Creates shurikens out of sand. Uses a small amount of chakra and uses sand and hardens it to pose as a shuriken. The sand shuriken may be created from any source of sand and launched to an opponent by the user. The shuriken require a little extra chakra committed to them to be "thrown" if the user does not throw it himself.

• Sliding Sand Wave
Not a very powerful jutsu in the least, this technique is mainly used to stop oncoming attacks or to psyche out the opponent. The user throws his hand to the side as if calling the sand to follow, it forces the sand on the ground to fly up in front of the user to either attack or defend against oncoming jutsu. This sand is not very strong and will easily be broken down if hit by a powerful jutsu. The sand rises to about the size of a normal human body and will revert back to the ground right after being called upon.

• Sand Shield
The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him into the air to block attacks. The user cannot stray further than five feet away from the shield, otherwise the sand will collapse. The wall will be sustained as long as the user continues to feed chakra into it.

• Exploding Sand Clone
This jutsu causes one or more previously created sand clones to explode from the inside, sending the sand that was used to create them towards the victim. This can easily get into their orifices and blind them.

• Hidden Sand Skill
The user must be around a lot of sand to do this. By slowly pulling the users body into the sand, the user is able to walk around underneath the sand.

• Sand Net
Creates a large net out of sand from a source of sand that is hurled by chakra towards the user. If the net catches the victim it slowly begins to constrict around the victim. The chakra in the rope deteriorates over time, gradually reducing the rope's strength.

• Sand Sphere
The user slams his hands down on the ground, bringing up a large amount of sand around him that will form a thick, powerful sphere around him, protecting him from all incoming attacks for a short remainder of time. This sphere will withstand all pressure for a maximum of one turn for Genin, two for Chuunin, and three for Jounin. During this time, the user cannot see what is happening outside of the orb.

• Desert Warzone
After charging a fist with chakra, the user slams his knuckles into the sand, sending what looks like a shockwave of sand at his enemy. In reality, he is delaying the force of the punch and making it travel beneath the desert at his opponent where it then explodes. However, this jutsu is called 'Desert' Warzone for a good reason; it only works where there is a lot of sand on the ground. Attempting to use this jutsu anywhere else, such as on hard, packed ground will most likely result in the user breaking his or her hand.

• Great Arm of Sand
A huge arm forms from the sand, and tries to grab the enemy with its large clawed hand. This jutsu is usually used to grapple a victim, but it can also be used as a shield or powerful punch. The arm can be guided, and stretch easily beyond 50 feet in length. The arm lasts three posts before dissipating.

• Sand Shackles
This jutsu makes four shackles made of sand launch from a sand source towards an opponent. Each shackle reaches for a wrist or ankle.

• Third Eye
A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja uses sand to create an eye through which they can clearly see without fear of being seen. Perfect for spying or collecting information, or targeting an opponent while guarding himself with a wall-defense. This cannot be used in conjunction with other techniques that enhance eyesight in anyway.

• Desert Coffin
The user's chakra controls sand and causes it to surround an opponent or parts of his body, capturing them completely in sand. Only the face is spared to allow breathing. After opponent is captured, they may slowly be lifted into the air and may even be attached to something. The biggest flaw in this jutsu is that the user must maintain concentration on this jutsu for it to work, or the sand to the ground, inert.

• Desert Funeral
This is a macabre jutsu outlawed for its "inhumane method" that is used as a follow up technique to the Desert Coffin. This jutsu causes the Desert Coffin to violently constrict, slowly crushing the entrapped victim. If the Desert Coffin stops working, so does this jutsu.

• Hungry Desert
This jutsu starts by saturating all the sand in up to a 10' cubic area with chakra. After that, the sand slowly begins swirling, pulling anything in the area or on the surface down gradually. It takes several seconds (3 posts) for someone to be completely submerged. Even once submerged, it'll take a while longer for the victim to suffocate. This jutsu is mostly used to immobilize the target, since it takes a lot of chakra to continue to pull the opponent under.

• Raging Sandstorm
By drawing out all the sand in the vicinity in a huge wind the user forces all the sand toward their opponent causing an extremely lethal storm of slashing sand particles. Not only can this jutsu erode flesh and cut ribbons all over the opponent's body, the sand will remain in the wounds, heightening the stinging pain and making it hard to clean the cuts afterwards.

• Sand Behemoth Awakening
Sand and destruction have never met together in a jutsu quite like this. After performing a very long line of hand seals, the user offers a blood sacrifice by biting his thumb (or other method), then slams both palms on the ground. An enormous beast rises from the sand, looking like the top half of a human being that is slowly melting sand off its body. The face is two eye holes, an indentation for a nose, and a large, gaping mouth that continually moans. Its size and power is not to be underestimated; one swipe from its thick arms can send a man flying hundreds of yards away. If not that, the behemoth will simply drag itself over to an opponent, then collapse on top of him, effectively crushing him under its weight. Absolutely grotesque to look at, it is even more frightening to fight. Even worse, it has no sense of allegiance to its summoner, and will eagerly wreck havoc upon enemies and allies alike until it falls apart about a minuet (10 posts) later.
