It didnt really end, they are taking a break. there are gonna be a few episodes after their little break.

At the moment, they are doing replays of "Fairy Tail Best" episodes. It's pretty awesome because it's fun re-watching the old episodes after a long time whee I heard that Fairy Tail had to stop because of Lucy's voice actress, Aya Hirano... Not sure it's true, but she's stopping or losing all of her voice acting jobs and is starting to become an idol-like person. I hope not though. She's one of my favorite voice actresses.
But, always remember the huge TO BE CONTINUED at the end of the episode! Hope for a second season, or else it won't make much sense to end the series like that, even though the manga still continues.

yeah..... its true it cant end like this i mean i´m not a manga fan but i couldn´t resist to watch and now i know who is the person that jellal was following and i was not waiting for that.....

I have a personal hard time watching the sub anime, since I'm not a fast reader. I've seen all the english ones though. :3 I'm even rereading the manga after stopping(cause I couldn't afford them) . Needless to say, I hope funimation picks it back up for more.
