Does anyone else feel this way? My main complaint is that they did away with the unique ghosts like the man in the library in the first. Does anyone else miss them? Or does everyone ok with fighting the same poltergeist with more health and in a different room?

Darzeth Skyfire I've found the game to be quite enjoyable. Other than taking out my favorite part of the first one it was fine, just literally the unique ghosts were my favorite thing.

I noticed the portrait ghosts aren't in this new Luigi's mansion. But there are the new breeds of common ghosts plus the Boo Diddly's make a comeback still. At least you have the new "dark-light" and can actually run in this one.

I beat the game today, the final fight wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped it would be but all in all it's a decent experience.

I thought it was really fun, and Luigi was such a cute character smile But I didn't play the old one, so it probably helps I don't have something to compare it to. I thought it was a solid game on its own. But I'm not done with it, I'm pretty slow.

so what your saying is there aren't any portrait ghosts in this one....I haven't even bought it yet and I'm disappointed.

I'm disappointed with it as well. I saved up my money for a long time to get a 3DS, specifically because I wanted dark moon. I loved the first one so much. I've probably played through it close to 50 times. Anyways, I think I got too hyped up and expected so much from it.
