As CWA is still going strong (at least from my perspective), I wanted to find a way to bring in more members and get some activity while new guilds were coming out of the woodwork. That being the case, I talked to Griffin a while back about doing some joint promotion work between CWA and PWS.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Basically, I want to keep CWA my own independent guild and want to work with another recently revived guild for the benefit of both. How this would work is having cross-promotion matches, maybe a cross-promotion feud, featuring superstars that are exclusive to those guilds. NONE of the matches will be for titles in respective guilds, unless an agreement is made to create cross-promotion titles.
Any feedback or suggestions for this would be appreciated, as I'd like to do this relatively soon.

It would seem joint ventures are coming out of the woodwork now lol My thing with this is this: Quote: NONE of the matches will be for titles in respective guild You should allow this to happen to add to the drama. What would it do to the CWA guys if a PWS guy took your main title away from THEIR show? And the same the other way around. It would bring major heat to both of your guilds if someone was able to take one of your belts and jump ship with it. Quote: featuring superstars that are exclusive to those guilds Sign me up for CWA then...Angel can't swim rofl This idea seems like it could work, mainly because it seems to me like it would generate the possibility for Team CWA vs Team PWS matches...much like Survivor Series matches used to be before they did away with it.

red_dragon_masta It would seem joint ventures are coming out of the woodwork now lol It was something I was thinking about when old guilds were reviving, but I figured with the whole E:E/UWE coming out of the woodwork, now was as good a time as any to talk about it. Quote: My thing with this is this: Quote: NONE of the matches will be for titles in respective guild You should allow this to happen to add to the drama. What would it do to the CWA guys if a PWS guy took your world title away from THEIR show? And the same the other way around. It would bring major heat to both of your guilds if someone was able to take one of your belts and jump ship with it. Lets say, at the very least, to start out. I don't really know how well this would be pulled off, and I'd rather not realize that it isn't working out, and have a title feud up in the air, if that makes sense. That was the gist of it, only instead of full-on survivor series matches, it would just be two teams going at it for bragging rights.

Looks like joint ventures it what a new promotion needs to do to be accepted!
If everyone involved can make it work and is happy, why not?! xd It would be something different to the E:E/UWE idea and unique to CWA/PWS! I've got a storyline idea already for Cartwright if such a thing was to happen! blaugh

Joint promotion MUST be done right. If not, in the best case scenario, you will have all the same people in both guilds. In the worst case scenario, both would simply have their own small group because they will find it completely pointless to compete in both. And the smaller amount of RPers will only make it tougher.
So it you want a good cross-promo, you want to do it in a way that will make people feel like there's something interesting in doing it, therefore, keep it steady. Big interpromotional feud works, but some single inter-brand every now and then works too. You can have a guy coming in and feud with a guy from your guild and the two feud between both guilds, just like some guy can come in, win a championship and say "screw this, I'm out and I'm taking it with me" while he goes and perform in that other place. It's really simple ideas, but you should keep in mind that acknowledging of the other's existence that makes the partnership legitimate.

Do both CWA and PWS have everything planned-out long-term already for how it will start, where it will lead to etc?!

Nothing definitive yet; for the time being I'd like to do one joint-promotion match every other card, excluding PPVs. I'm going to come up with some ideas to bounce off of Jinx.
