The arrival on the island was something to relish as the silver maned woman all but leaped from the plane after it had landed and the engine had stopped. Her feet were bare now, her shoes being kicked off in the cabin of the air craft on the way to the large stretch of land rising from the ocean. After a short stretch of asphalt that marked the landing pad, her feet touched hot sand. Oh, how good the sand felt between her toes and the warm breeze that licked across her skin and swept up her hair that was now free of it's confinements. The long silver locks getting tangled as if the island air were welcoming her home with open arms.
Wren escaped the plane a little more slowly, his mistress' heels in hand and his back straight as he kept his red eyes locked on Vixen's form as she danced across the hot sand. The skirt of her blue dress getting caught in the wind as her loose hair did, both swaying like wheat in a gust. As he heard the familiar sound of the vycan's laughter, he couldn't help but relax a little and a small smile spread over his lips as he watched her. Almost as soon as it happened, he remembered their 'cargo' and his smile faded. The pilot had already gone forth from the plane and had opened the cargo hold where the undead had stored himself because of the climate, or something along those lines. "Vix. We have cargo." His tone was cold and unwelcoming, but as the female turned to face him, the bright happiness that shown on her face was almost enough to take his breath away, even after almost ten thousand years with her.
The vycan had almost forgotten about her purchase, being so happy to come back home finally as the sun was sinking down over the oceanic blue of the waters just beyond the sand. The blue was turning a volcanic color, the sky also picking up the reds and oranges of twilight, even as the salty breeze made her smile widen. To be home again, even after only a day was like going back to Atlantis, but the population... To put it simply, there were only the two of them and a few of the servents, including the pilot, the maids, and the landscapers, but they all had their own quarters across the island for their own privacy. Their large home was typically empty when it wasn't one of the equinoxes or solstices.
Vixen turned her attention from the loneliness that fought to consume her happy glow, she rushed forward back to the plane and came to an almost dead stop. "That's right! He needs a tour and probably some food? Wait... Do undead eat food... Or flesh? I hope not. But I didn't ask either... Hm..." Her mind wandered for a moment before she shook her head softly. "No matter. I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to cater to him, provided we don't need human flesh. But I'll have to ask, right, Wren?" The vycan asked with a smile up at her companion and he gave a curt nod in response. As they waited for their 'guest' to emerge from the belly of the metal beast, so to say, Vixen swayed a little and closed her eyes to take up the last glimpses of the sun and the salty smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and retreating as if it played a game of cat and mouse with the sand.
