Can you lose your virginity through gay sex? You may think there is a simple answer but I've noticed that everyone has a different opinion on what exactly classifies as sex and whether gay men or lesbians can even lose their virginity.
Some classify it as only a**l sex--if thats true, then how do lesbians lose their virginity?--through fisting? Some classify virginity through any sort of sexual experience (blow jobs or hand jobs).
What do you think?

Virginity is a fluid term. You lose it whenever you feel you lost it. There is no one way of losing it.
I consider sex to have been had at the level of oral sex. That, to me, is the virginity loss moment. While there is an additional coitus virginity loss available at the level of genital sex, lesbians don't get to experience that without a d***o, so I don't know.
Again, it's different for each person because each person is different.

Subliminal Message I voted that losing your virginity is touching someone else's naughty place. I voted the same thing because I thought the word phrase "naughty place" was cute.

JoVo Subliminal Message I voted that losing your virginity is touching someone else's naughty place. I voted the same thing because I thought the word phrase "naughty place" was cute. ....and those two quotes are exactly the reason i adore this community... also, on the topic, i agree with JoVo...virginity is more abstract than anything. of course there is the physical part (i'm coming from the chick point here...as i don't have male equipment) but you can lose that through almost anything. falling in the wrong position can rip that thing out like woah.

Hymens are not a good indicator at all. Otherwise females left and right would be losing their virginity while horseback riding and speed bumps (that's why you don't speed in parking lots, kids). I'd think that the moment you do touch someone's "naughty place" ( xd ) of your own free will, nothing is really stopping you from continuing further. In the end I'd agree, that virginity is lost at oral sex and beyond. Mutual masturbation is more leaning over the edge, but still firmly planted on the side of virginity.
Ah, subjective views! May you always twist minds everywhere.

I said exchanging fluids but I really have trouble deciding. I guess my vote works for guys but lesbiens would have trouble. I guess virginity is just when you feel like you're not hidden anymore. I'm sure some people have sex all their life and never really feel the loss. Maybe I'm just getting too philosophical but I didn't get much sleep last night so that might be the problem there.

I think that it is intercourse that is were you lose it. any act declaired as sex, makes you lose it, when a guy comes, by he hand of someone else
