Gareth lived a rather normal life. He grew up in a small fishing town with his mother and three aunts as his guardians. He had friends he grew up with ever since he could remember and was treated as a normal human. When his childhood friend Mary-Ann died, he went to study abroad instead of staying in the same place and now he's here hoping to stay busy instead of becoming a suicidal freakshow. He gets scared easily, but can get snippy if his already frayed nerves get touched (metaphorically speaking) also.
