painted over the sham of an Ultra logo and made the doors steel-colored. also I've added various details. Nothing to be too amazed at, but cool looking all the same.

Take my word for it, having a big army is more of a headach then it is worth, not only do you have to paint all of them but THEN you have to find a box big enought to carry them safely. stare Count your blessings and love your small but mighty force.

They are a blast to make because you can change up the pylons ( side fins ) to make a unique looking pod for your army. 3nodding

I'll consider my force mighty when I win a game... crying crying crying
Only having basically 1 person to play against may have somthing to do with that as well.

Erm... His tactics involve offensive amounts of Death Company marines/Khorne Berserkers. This could be tough.

Ok well, are his berserkers mounted ? If not use range to pumle him from afar. Khorne is notoriously slow if not in transports. Whirlwinds with castellien minefields make it tricky too move. Drop pods are also a good way of causing he** on the battle field. ( I heart drop pods ) I like to come in reserve, by that time his forces might be far enough into the field to drop in behind him, you take table quarters and crush him between the two halves of your army ( tee hee a Khorne sandwich )

I've had my share of spectacular losses, but I always have my own personal teeny little objecitve, be it to get just one marine to his side of the borde or to kill one of his models inparticular or even to spell out messages with my troop formations. This way its not always a loss but a small victory. wink

Sadly no I didn't have my camera that day ( I should know better ), but it was a spectacular blue and white "MOO" of death. nearly every one came over to see the moo marines. rofl

Okay 3 words: Extra Tank Bits
They work great for making drop pods, Ive got one in progress, the only trouble im having is how to open and close them...

They don't really have to open. You could just as easily put models off the side of the board in reserve.
