It has been one month since the beginning of the Heroic Era. Heroes have appeared throughout the world, and several organizations have chosen to watch them from afar, to study them. For this month, Magic itself has been the change in the air, and no one knows who's causing it. But that has changed. Years ago, Emperor Noveria III sat on the Imperial throne. He stands as a tragic figure in their history. He rose to power after his father passed away peacefully, and was an ambitious man. He assembled a mighty army, with the intent of conquering the world. However his ambition was cut short, and Emperor Noveria III disappeared in a battle. That was centuries ago.
Now, Emperor Noveria III has returned, for centuries his life has been a story told to children, he was a respected leader. But now that he has returned, the Emperor seeks to return to power. He cannot take the Imperial capital, so he has taken refuge in Avalon. He has one goal now: take Avalon and finally bring the world under his rule forever. But what is the nature of this old Emperor? Why did he disappear centuries ago? And what is he now?
