The small Merchant States of Hainsworth are a series of small floating islands. A confederacy, these States mostly stick to their own, but in this era a country is destroyed without power. To resist the advances of Avalon and the Imperial State, these small Merchant States gathered together to form Hainsworth. The nations are each ruled by a governor, which meet together monthly as a council. The Merchant States are built around capitalism, merchants and bankers are the ones with power in this nation. The Merchant States are also very keen on mercenaries. They have a large army of mercenaries in place of a professional army, and individual mercs are often hired by merchants and bankers as bodyguards.
