 I know you haven't made your mind up yet,

I've known it from the moment that we met,
No doubt in my mind,
Where you belong
Many, many years ago, a feud begun between the five counties of Arcland: The Kingdom of Eternal Light, The Kingdom of Great Wood, The Kingdom of the Fair Plain, The Kingdom of Deep Water, and The Kingdom of Dark Desire.
The five counties feuded over each other's lands until their quarrels became a brutal war. Many innocent people had died before the elders converged, coming to a conclusion that to stop the nonsensical war, the land would have to be shared equally.
The elders declared that each royal family from the five kingdoms should submit a son and daughter to them, and that arranged marriages to one of the opposing factions would be instigated to end the feuding.
Over a period of one year, the young adults would be locked in a castle, in the neutral area of Arcland known as Gardenian Fortress. The royal blood must agree to marry their arranged partner, after the time of one year has passed.
For those who want the nitty-gritty of it all: Basically, this is a romance RP based on arranged marriages.
Ten people, (five female, five male) are sent by their families to the kingdom's neutral castle for a year. If they do choose to marry; they are given possession of one of the kingdom's sectors and the right to rule with their spouse. (And live... happily? Ever after.)

o1. First of all, obey me, and Gaia TOS. Seriously, you're old enough not to act like a complete moron.
o2. Romance is welcomed and encouraged here... After all, it is a romance RP- But I will absotively, posolutely, not now, not ever, tolerate cybering on this thread. Sweet, if you feel the need to do it, take it to PM or whatever, just don't taint my thread with your crap. TIMESKIP
o3. This is a semi-lit/lit roleplay, so keep it civil. You know what I mean. No text talk, watch your spelling/grammar and make your posts pretty. Keep it at 9-11 font at the most, don't be afraid to get creative and risky and stick pictures in with your posts.
o4. Speaking of which; post length should be a 3-5 well constructed sentences. I can understand writer's block and stuff like that, but if you spam, so help me God, I will stab you in the face with a rabid lemur. u____u
o5. Girls can play guys, and vice versa, but I will not allow same-sex couples, as it is an arranged marriage RP and that just messes everything up okiday? You can also play up to three characters, if we're lacking people and whatnot.

I'm a: Elven Princess
I'm still this young: 300 years old
The Kingdom I come from: Great Wood
On the surface: Cyrillia is a girl of strong will, she does not like being pushed around by others even the slightest, but would do anything to help her people if it came down to it. She understands her place of duty and has devoted her entire life to doing what is best for her kingdom instead of what she wants.
She is very patient and kind to others always offering her help even if she may be hopeless at the task since she isn’t the best at doing delicate things. She enjoys training with her powers and hanging around the forest’s livelihood such as its animals and can often be found in areas with many trees. However within her heart she wants to be on the battle field with her people instead of being protected, she feels useless being kept away and wants to be of help to them with her strong affinity to the forest.
But deep down: She loves her kingdom and father with great regard, however seeing her people suffer at the hands of war as made her heart ache. She has a bitter resentment towards humans from the empire as all she can do is watch the slaughter from the place her father has ordered her to stay in order to protect her from the bloodshed and hope that whoever she is arranged to be married can help her undo all of these horrible wrongs.

I almost forgot: Cyrillia has trained herself well in the arts of her people’s fighting styles and has a strong affinity for the forests magic as whole trees will move under her command. She can have the roots of plants and their leaves move as she asks even sending messages to those that can understand it. However, her abnormal strong affinity also means that she can understand an animals emotions as they do what she asks of them also if they feel compliant.

The Kingdom I come from: Deep Water
On the surface: Ren is quite simple and carefree individual and a bit irresponsible. He likes to flirt...a lot. He seems to not care about the war to the point he seems not even aware of who is the enemy of whom. He is remarkably selfish and childish. And he seems more interested in finding things to keep him entertained than actually focusing on ‘politics that has nothing to do with him’.
But deep down: Ren is actually well read and educated. He knows quite a bit about the war and understands its reaches. Personally he feels it is something quite pointless that old, greedy, and corrupt men forced young men to die for. While he thinks the plan for arranged (and what he feels is rather forced) marriages between the young nobility has no chance of success, he actually finds the idea intriguing enough to tolerate without any complaint.

I almost forgot: Ren is actually quite a good strategist though he rarely shows such abilities and when he does he brushes it off as mere luck. He is a shapeshifter and prefers to take his more human form, though his second preferred form is that of a horse. He is able to shift into other forms as needed. His education included military training, language, history, and economics. While he excelled in learning the information, he purposely failed almost every exam. As a result he is generally seen as a rather inept member of the royal family.
