Makai was up early in the morning wearing a red cloak over a black kimono and zōri.His signature black ink-like markings could be seen around his eyes and in his hair.He had wanted to get away from some massive amount of work that had been steadily piled on his desk this morning, and gone for a walk on the streets alone.It was sunny out so he grabbed his umbrella and made his way thru the village.

Whenever the people of Amegakure saw him they would either make their child run to him and greet him or wave and give him some present.

"Ame-sama!" A little girl walked to him holding out a flower made of paper. "pweeasse. Take it...gift."

Makai looked at her in surprise, he smiled at her,patted her on the head and took the flower. "Thank you little one." The girl blushed and immediately ran back to her mother, Makai grinned at both of them. He waved back to the others and simply walked on his way placing the flower inside his cloak pocket. His stomach was growling for food, come to think of it he hadn't eaten since dinner but it had to wait, he had something important that he had in mind. He walked passed the Mukuro's flower shop when the shop owners daughter Inabi suddenly called him.

" Makai!" Inabi grinned. "Sorry I had to stop you but my family wanted to give you this bouquet as a congratulations on becoming Ame-kage just a few years ago. We weren't able to give it earlier because you were so busy and pesky ANBU won't let us come near you."

She pointed at the giant flowers inside the store. "Thanks Inabi, tell your parents as well that I appreciate the gift even though it was thanks to you and the others I got nominated for the position those years ago"

"Hahaha...that is true, so Makai, where are you headed off to? The office is that way, Gyūki might get mad at you for slacking off again" She pointed opposite where Makai was headed.

"I had something important that came up and I need to get it done." Makai laughed. "I needed it to be done before work."

"Wow, on the job and so dedicated to your work, that's amazing. I'll just have it sent over to you as soon as possible." She said wondering if he knew what today was." I won't keep you waiting any longer. I'll see you soon Makai, hope it's alright not calling you Ame-sama. Even if it does fit you~"

"Heh, that's alright the others can call me that anyways..." They waved at each other. "Thanks again, See you soon."
He said as he continued his walk.(Exit)
