The air stunk of blood and death. Victoria twitched her nose and felt a sickness in her stomach. She hated that smell and despised herself for what she had done. She felt a small tug at her arm. Mr. Heresworth was trying to lead her somewhere. Her ears perked up and she chased him a bit. It was true, she did love to run and be outdoors. She smiled and ran with him. He led her to a park and the smell there was great. It was open and beautiful. The trees made a swoosh sound in the wind and she watched the leaves blow around happily. Laying on the ground and staring up at the sky she gave a loud sigh and tried to relax a bit. The wolf inside her wouldn't give up however and she gave in to the temptation to turn. She curled up into a ball and whined a little bit. Her wolf form was just a bit smaller than her teacher was. She was white underneath with a rust and black color on the top.

She knew that Cole would be watching her, most likely suspicious and hate-filled towards her. She picked her head up off the ground and stared at him to watch him. She could no longer speak aloud so she spoke to him in his head. She gave him a small hum and told him, Mr. Heresworth, please do not be alarmed or think that I will do any harm to you. I swear that I will not. She was afraid to get near him, but she gently got up and walked around for a bit so she could get her frustrations out. She dug her claws into a tree and kept herself stuck in it while she attempted to stop the anger in her. She looked over at the teacher and sized him up. She slowly walked over to him and sat in front of him, staring at him. She told him, if you plan on killing me, I am giving you the opportunity right now, otherwise you can ask me as you wish and learn more about who I am and what is going on.

If he listened carefully and felt what she was feeling, there was a horrible fear of death emitting from her. She was afraid to die, but she knew that she was a threat to people in the area. She knew that someone would want to kill her and her parents would most likely be after her. Her parents, ha, what a joke. They knew this would happen and were probably betting on it. They had wanted her dead from the time she was born. The chief of their clan deemed her an abomination because she did not follow or even agree with their rules. She liked doing things her own way. Now her fate was held in the hands of a vampire. She snorted aloud at the thought and laid at his feet and took a deep breath, awaiting whatever destiny he chose.

Cole Heresworth
There's a monster inside all of us

xxxxNow that they were alone, the girl could stop worrying about what was bound to happen in the gymnasium and Cole could quit worrying about what she would do as well. When she took off, happily running around the park, the vampire did his best to stay out of her way, trying to think of a way to diffuse the situation. This situation was the hardest of them all because not only had she supported some inhuman strength and killed other students but she had also shifted in front of them, and there were still witnesses. Shaking his head, he was surprised to see her start to lay down only to take off again, this earning a raised brow. What in the world was she doing? Of course they were alone but Cole needed to get this whole situation figured out. She wasn't the only one in danger, no, he was. If any of the Legion were to figure out he was aiding a werewolf, that would be the death of him. The wars had stopped years and years ago but that didn't mean the anger between the werewolves and the vampires had faded. If anything, it was just silent anger just waiting to explode and blow everything to hell.

Once he figured she was calm enough, Cole moved over to a bench, deciding to wait for her to gain some control over herself. Sitting down and running a hand through his hair in aggravation, he knew his job would be gone. The principal would call to ensure she went home, and when he found out she wasn't there, police would be called. From there, it would go on as Cole being some creepy ***** though he knew the girl was older than the rest. Hell, why was he thinking of her like that?! Just because he helped her, no, he couldn't break that rule, too. This situation was bad enough and the vampire looked to the wolf that was enjoying herself. She was doing some damage, sure as hell she was but it would be easily dismissed if it was even noticed.

Finally, they were speaking and he was stunned as she told him to kill her now or hear her out. Either way, the vampire rose a brow before giving an icy glare. "Your fate is not in my hands, I will not be the one to kill you. If anything, that's not what I'm worried about. Your reputation here, well, actually everywhere.. It's shot. This is going to make the news, I don't see them covering this one up. Too many witnesses. And sure, we could go back, cause a big blood bath but that won't save us now. It'll just get us more unwanted attention. If anything, my reputation is shot, too. I don't know what to suggest for you to do, but I'm leaving the country. It's all I can do. This is gonna be a national thing and it'll bring the hunters out, and I don't know if you know anything about them, but you don't want a run in with them. How will your parents handle this?" Part of him was worried for the girl, she had just got here and already, she had to grab her bags and go. It was already the end for her, she didn't have a chance in it unless she wanted to go home and be woken in the middle of the night to her home being on fire and hunters attacking.

And if her parents would punish her with death for something that even he didn't blame her for, what would he do? She still had a full life ahead of her and sadly, Cole didn't want to see her go. Not that way, no, it just wasn't right. He had done his best to prevent the inevitable but in the end, it still had happened. The secrets of the night creatures were on thin ice, and this had pretty much sent a crack right down the middle which would upset not only the humans but every creature out there. His eyes shifted to Victoria again as he waited for an answer, the vampire doing his best to keep calm. If he were to keep helping her, he was screwed but hell, he was already in a load of s**t. There wasn't much he could do, not for either side and finally, he decided that if she wouldn't have a family to go back to, he'd take her under his wing. But if he didn't have to, he wasn't going to.

The moon loomed above them and the wolf thought for a little while. Victoria made a deep hum while she was thinking then opened her eyes and stared directly at Cole, my so called 'family' are already out to get me. So is my pack, but they would be no match for you and I. They know I could rip half of them to shreds. They've hated me since my foster parents had turned me. I hated them for turning me, but they were all I had left. She didn't want to go into too much detail about her past. That could be saved for another day. She walked around and gently picked up all the scraps from her dress in her mouth then tossed them in trash can. Thoughts of what they could do loomed in her head. She searched around for her purse that had her main assets in it. She gently brought it over to Cole and set it near his feet. Going back to her latter position, she sat in front of him and whined a small bit. In her mind, she had little to no plan of how to do this. She needed to pull all of her money out of the bank and give it to Cole. She contemplated cutting and dying her hair even. She wanted to go with Cole and her ears perked up a bit.

Cole had mentioned something about leaving the country and her tail started to wag a bit. It brushed the cement and she turned to look at it. If wolves could blush, she definitely would have at this point. Turning back to Cole, she gave him a lonely and sad look. It was a look of longing yet soft and gentle. She slowly sat her head down to his lap and slowly breathed in a deep breath. Her nose twitched and snarled a bit, but she kept her face there to try and desensitize herself from the scent of him. It's not like he smelled horrible or anything, but he had an odor that she didn't particularly care for. The same could most likely be said about her. She hadn't thought about if he had disliked the scent of her. The wolf jumped back and laid flat on the ground a bit, I-I am truly sorry, I got carried away. She gently rolled onto her back and laid with her paws sprawled out and turned to stare at him.

There was a bit of excitement within her when she thought about leaving the country. Her tail wagged, which in turn made her whole butt wiggle a small bit. Turning towards him, she asked, Cole, can we go somewhere like Ireland or England... Perhaps Scotland... Maybe even Australia! Somewhere big where we can live along in the countryside, with plenty of open land for me, which means a nice, conspicuous place to hide in and not be noticed. No neighbors for miles and no threat of being attacked or found out. This would all blow over eventually then we could... For some strange reason she felt herself choke up as she was thinking what would happen next. She stopped wagging her tail and rolled over. She would have to live with him for a while and rely on each other for survival. Especially if they were alone together for most of the time, she would probably feel an attachment. She gently sat up and stared into his eyes as she said the last part she was thinking about, separate. The words echoed throughout her mind and she felt herself grow a bit dizzy. The wolf girl started to change back into a human and she tried to stop it. She frowned and said, I need clothes.

Cole Heresworth
There's a monster inside all of us

User Image

xxxxThis was the first time Cole had strayed from what he knew best, and already, he was regretting it. Looking to the wolf at his side, he was slightly surprised when she explained that she would have nothing to go back to. Even if she was older than she looked and most likely able to fend for herself, part of the vampire felt terrible for even thinking of making her face this on her own. Everyone would be coming after her and leaving her on her own to face the world was not an option that he was willing to take. "Wait, you're not here with your real parents? And before you go on, thinking about fighting, we won't fight unless we have to in order to survive. Big fights will draw attention to us and right now, we don't want any sort of attention." Cole explained, his eyes falling onto Victoria. If only he had enough time to let all of this seep in and think on it, but he knew he didn't. It had all happened in the blink of an eye and he was stuck right in the middle. He would be seen as a monster by the humans though they didn't have a clue as to what he really was. And to his people? His fellow vampires. A traitor.

The girl was wandering around to get the evidence of them being there cleaned up though not everything was so easily removed. The scraps of clothing from her change? Simple, tossed in a trash can but the scratches? The humans wouldn't think anything of it but the hunters who made it their very personal job to keep the supernatural creatures at bay most likely would connect the pieces. So as it was, the sooner they left, the better. But looking to Victoria, opening his mouth to say something, he was quickly silenced at the display of happiness. She actually wanted to go with him? They were supposed to be sworn enemies but here they were, pairing together and he lightly shook his head though her tail wagging and big grin was almost contagious, not that he had a clue as to why it was so contagious.

But what surprised Cole most was the way she put her head into his lap, an affectionate gesture. This night was just getting so confusing but he nodded at her apology, distracted by his own thoughts on how they would make it out of this alive. This almost felt like a bank robbery to him, everything screamed this is wrong!, but here he was, continuing to dig his grave. There was no getting out of this now, just no way. They were in way too deep, over their heads even and Cole was thinking of just how much he had money-wise. He'd been around for long enough and had a decent bit of money saved back though if they didn't get it soon, he'd have no way to get it. After all, he was about to kidnap a mentally unstable student. Or so the officials would tell the news and their stories would be posted everywhere for everyone to see.

"Been to all of those places except for Australia. How about we check that one out first and if it doesn't work out, we'll do a bit of traveling, yeah?" Staying in one place really wasn't a wise thing to do, but then again moving around a lot could be a bad thing too. It would get your name out and right now, Cole wasn't sure what he was going to do. Looking to Victoria as she mentioned that she needed clothes, he blinked but lightly shook his head with a teasing smile. "That form doesn't affect you in any way does it? I need you to stay like that for awhile until I can get you some clothing." Cole explained, looking to her as he thought about how he could get things done. "We'll go get my things if you're ready and then we'll be visiting a friend. I need to call in some favors and if I remember her correctly, she's around the same size as you so I'm sure we can get some clothing from her." He told her, the male hoping she was ready to go. He stood, gesturing for her to come with her. "Let's get out of here. Need me to carry your stuff or do you have it?" Cole asked, glancing to her and scanning the area as he waited to see what she said.

The change back stopped after a minute of trying to control it and she shook herself and brushed her tail against his arm gently and circled around him gently. She looked around to make sure that everything was clear and she could move without people seeing her. For her size, she was quite the master at keeping herself hidden in the dark. The top of her fur blended in nicely with the forest and her ability to run made her quite the master at traveling. She gently leaned on Cole and tried to rub her scent on him so that her pack couldn't tell if she was with him or not just in case they got near. She nodded at him and backed up a little bit, staring at him with her head hanging low. She stared up at him and gave him a small sigh. There was a lingering thought in her head and she told him, I am so sorry for all of this, Cole. Please forgive me and my struggles.

The young wolf backed up a little bit and turned to stare at him one more time, then jumped into the bushes and trees. He could probably see her eyes watching him. She wanted to hide and follow him. For one, she did not want to hurt him. And the second instance, she wanted no humans to find her. She knew there would probably be some humans that liked to stay out late and she couldn't risk them seeing her. She also couldn't risk walking around naked. The sheer thought of Cole seeing her walk around, vulnerable and cold made he huff in shame. She snorted and turned away in shame. She attempted to take her mind off of things like that by thinking about going to Australia and spending her days in the water. She loved the water and wagged her tail happily. She wondered if Mr. Heresworth liked the water and hummed at him, do you like to swim, Cole? There was an air of excitement in her tone and she walked around impatiently in the woods. She wanted to learn a bit more about him so she didn't feel so awkward living with a complete stranger that could kill her within seconds. Her fur got a few twigs in it and she gnawed at them anxiously. She loved to be in perfect shape when in her wolf form.

xxxxLooking around, Cole wasn't sure how he would explain Victoria's new form to any nosy passers-by. If they had to ask about the strangely colored wolf before them, he would find a way to make things up but then again, they'd have to have the chance to see her in order for this to happen. And as it was, the vampire was even having trouble keeping up with the wolf as she sauntered around him in the shadows. At the sudden apology, he gave a light laugh, shaking it off. For now, he was in denial, everything would be fine, or so he was trying to tell himself. "Why apologize? None of this is your fault. It's because of your clan. They didn't properly teach you to restrain yourself and handle your temper, and they were stupid to put you out here in the real world. They should have known this would happen eventually and yet they still put you out here. You're not the disgrace here, they are. And because of their stupidity, they are bound to be on a list eventually. The hunters will track them down and if too many of your pack mates have the same incident you did, the pack will pay." He explained, giving a shrug. As heartless as this was, it wasn't his problem. The only thing he was worried about was protecting the wolf in front of him. This wasn't her fault, he did have to admit that she had tried and that he had tried as well. Those girls still had messed with her and this was the outcome.

Breaking from his thoughts as he felt the wolf's side rubbing against his legs, Cole looked down to Victoria curiously. Whatever she was up to, he couldn't be sure and either way, he was a bit intrigued as to what she was doing. "I do hope you're not throwing yourself onto me in reward for me helping, Victoria. I am not that kind of man and even if I've broken at least three of the sacred rules of our kind, I can not bring myself to break that type of rule. I do hope you understand." He explained, and that was that. He gave a curt nod and made his way towards the road, hoping to get on the move before they were spotted. "Can the questions wait, Victoria? We need to focus on getting to safety for now. I need to gather all I can from my apartment. Money, clothes... Blood. Well, I'll have to dispose of some of it because once this hits the news and knowing my luck, it already did, I'd rather be seen as a serial killer than some kind of cannibal." He muttered, shaking his head lightly. Whatever it was, they needed to go and he hoped that the werewolf knew to follow. After all, Cole had thrown himself out on the line for her, and he wasn't going to just up and wait around while she skipped around playing twenty questions.

If they weren't in immediate danger, he wouldn't mind but this wasn't the time for such games. They needed to go, to get out of the area and to be prepared for what was bound to happen. "When we get to my house, I'll let you wear some of my clothes, at least to get you by til we get that favor from my friend." He called to Victoria, stepping out onto the road and making his way towards the alley, deciding he'd take the back way home. What was there for Victoria to wear? Cole had been single for a long time and even if he did have his occasional night out, he didn't have anything that was really appropriate for a woman. And they didn't have the time to go shopping so more than likely Cole would be setting Victoria up with sweats and a t shirt. Maybe some of his old shoes though he wasn't sure if they would fit the girl. It wasn't nice to make her walk around barefoot, after all. Eventually, after around half an hour of walking at a brisk pace, Cole had made it to the alley on the other side of his house. Sure enough red and blue lights were lighting the sky, making it clear that it wasn't safe.

"Alright.. Time for a delay." He muttered, giving a sigh. So, he'd have to go and get his alternate ID so that he could drain the money from his banks. Of course, the ATMs were mostly open all night but he'd have to walk all the way across town in order to get to the old car where he had everything stored at. "Cops are already out, shame.. I'm now going to be labelled as a cannabalistic child molester whom kidnapped a mentally unstable high school student. Great." Cole muttered sarcastically, giving a sour look before shaking his head. "I don't know about you but I don't want to be out all night. Care for a run? I hope you can keep up." The vampire muttered, taking off into the night, the only thing the male left behind was a scent trail and if she was a good enough werewolf, she'd be able to follow and eventually catch up with Cole. He was tired of waiting around and if the police were onto him, the hunters would be, too. And at the moment, he didn't want a run in with the hunters.

Victoria gave a small growl at Cole for thinking she would throw herself onto him just for helping her. She was not that kind of a girl. There was no harm in him saying that, but she still took a small offense to it. All that was attempted was a small bit of affection towards someone because of all the help he had done. if she wanted to try and seduce him ,she would do that in other means. The wolf didn't even really like the vampire like that. So what if he is good looking and kind-hearted. He wreaks of death and decay. i couldn't love someone like him! He wouldn't even love a mutt like me. Now thinking about it, she may or may not have still had Cole listening to her. She twitched her ear, but couldn't tell.

She understood that they could not stay in that area and needed to leave. Following him to where his house was turned out to be a bit tricky. There ended up being cops in the area. A giant red and black wolf is a little hard to hide when it's the same size as a six foot man. She chuckled under her breath and bared her teeth, growling a bit, but in a happy tone. Her snarl looked somewhat like an odd smile and she waited by Cole, pressed tightly near the walls and him as a hiding spot. The lights from the cop cars were bothering her eyes a bit and she listened as Cole told her what he was planning on doing. She nodded and told him, I will do whatever it is you please.

the small joke Cole had made caused the snarl to turn into a grin and she silently laughed in her mind. It took a lot of strength in her not to howl and roll around on the ground. He actually thought he could outrun her? This was quite the joke and an unbelievable idea in her mind. Running was so natural to her. She crouched down and gave him a head start before jolting after him. Her feet coming together them flying apart as she ran to chase him. It didn't give her the feeling of a predator attacking it's prey, but more like two pack mates attempting to race each other. She felt free and alive and joyous. This was one of the only time she honestly felt at home. Mr. Heresworth certainly had helped change her life.

xxxxSneaking into his house was out of the question, at least three cop cars were in the front, sirens blaring and lights flashing. It was enough to make him want to stay away and he knew just how they tried to keep an eye on things. There would probably be at least another unit or two around the back, to make sure the "rapist" known as Cole Heresworth didn't try to sneak in from the back. If the lights were bothering him, he was sure that they were bothering Victoria and so he scooted back further into the alley, glancing down to her to make sure she was okay. They would definitely have to stick to the shadows as not to draw attention to themselves. Him being seen was one thing but her? The last thing they needed was for the officials to know just what to look for. After all, a large red wolf was hard to miss, as well as his handsome face. It was probably posted everywhere by now.

Looking to the wolf as she spoke up, saying that she'd do anything he needed her to do, he gave a mild nod, trying to think of any tasks for the girl. So far, there was nothing as right now he wanted nothing more than to get away from here. And they couldn't afford to be noticed. "Right now I don't need you to do anything aside from following me. I know I promised you a run but if I'm thinking right, we're either evenly matched in speed or one of us is slightly faster. In the rare chance that you're faster than me, I need you to tone it down so you can keep up and so that you don't get lost. We don't have much time and I don't want to use up any extra time in tracking you down. Should we get separated, follow my scent or meet me in the park where I first took you." He ordered, hoping she understood. Of course, she had a snarky little grin as if she knew something that he didn't and that was enough to pique his interest, causing Cole to look down at Victoria with a brow raised.

"C'mon, pup. Hope you can keep up! It's time to go now!" And with that, the vampire had taken off, heading for the darker side of town. The "bad side" but what was on this side didn't just consist of drugs and criminals. No, there were his kind, there were the supernatural, the ones who stayed in hiding. And he needed to pay a visit to a certain little fairy whom owed him a favor. He'd kept secrets for her and so he was hoping she'd do the same for him. Looking back every so often to see if Victoria was keeping up, he cursed as he slammed roughly into a car, the male growling in pure anger as the alarm started to screech, alerting it's owner that it had been tampered with. The side was dented in and it looked so much like a human body that he had to stop, grabbing a nearby car and shoving it into the car where he'd just hit it, opening the door and hotwiring it to turn it on. "Drunks." He muttered, and with that, he was off, hoping that the officials would fall for the trick while he lead Victoria to where his friend's home was.

Once they got there, he didn't hesitate to walk in, smiling charmingly to the little fairy. "Oh! Cole! How nice to see you! You're on the news, you know! They're saying you did something baaddd!" She chimed, giving him a questioning look to see if this was true. "You know me better than that, Shima. I wouldn't do what they're accusing me of. This one, is the reason I'm on the news and I was wondering if you could give us some clothing for her? She had an incident that wasn't her fault... And I'm trying to help her stay alive. The hunters will be on us soon if they aren't already. My trail isn't very obvious, I covered it up the best I could. You can help, can't you?" He asked, looking to the fairy pleadingly. Hopefully she would be willing to help, especially after all he'd done for her when she had dealt with a similar incident.

The fairy looked between Cole and Victoria for a few, biting her lip thoughtfully while she tried to figure out what to do. But eventually she nodded and waved for Victoria to follow her, leaving Cole standing in the living room. "Finally, someone to prove that Cole does have a soft side. What happened, girlie? Why's he so determined to keep you safe? I thought wolves and bats didn't get along. Hm." She spoke up, looking through her closet and producing a bag as well as a few outfits for Victoria. "Choose what ya like." Shima spoke, leaning against her dresser and watching Victoria with interest.

The young wolf watched as Cole raced ahead of her an she kept a bit of a distance from him. It wasn't that hard for her to keep up, it was only the attempts to stay on the dark that had slowed her down a bit. That and she was afraid of being attacked by another vampire or perhaps a creature that would dislike her. Victoria was a very docile wolf and hadn't made any impression on any other mystical creatures that could easily surprise her if they had wanted to. Cole had called her a pup and she growled a bit while on her way following him. He hadn't made her made, but she was making a grumpy grumble at him as a tease. Cole had looked back at her and accidentally slammed into a car. She skipped to a halt and made a whining noise. Some part of her felt like yet again, this was her fault. Easily taking care of the situation, Cole had started off again and Victoria followed him anxiously. Cole seemed to be a fairly strong man and it did scare her a bit thinking he could probably hurt her if he ever got mad enough at her or even wanted to. Thinking about this, she wondered what his friend would be like.

Keeping her tail between her legs and her held held low, Victoria followed Cole into the house and stood near the doorway. She didn't want to seem threatening or even territorial to the fairy. The young wolf perked her ears up when he called her the reason he was in this mess. She gently pushed her nose into the backside of his knee and huffed at him. She walked forward and whipped her tail at him and sat down on the ground. She stared at the fairy in curiosity and took a few deep breaths to determine if anything was familiar to her. fairy was new to her, she had never gotten to meet a fairy before. The fairy, called Shima by Cole, was quite beautiful and Victoria felt a bit ashamed that she smelled like a dog and probably looked really scruffy. Her tail moved back and for softly as she had waited for the girl's response. Rather than a wolf, she felt like a common house dog at this point.

When the fairy had motioned for Victoria to follow her, she happily got up and followed her. this made her happy she did not have to look like a scruffy wolf anymore and she could change up he appearance a bit. The young girl blushed and slowly shifted back into a human and hid herself in the closet a bit so she could change into a pair of jeans and a plain blue t-shirt. Victoria walked back out slowly and went to listen to the girl's questions. Sifting through a few items, Victoria would occasionally put a few items of interest in the bag. Most of them were as plain as she could find and simple items. She did not want to take any items that were more valuable and could possibly mean anything to the fairy. It wouldn't have been appropriate for her to take advantage of this girl, who didn't even know her, and was helping her just because Cole had asked her to.

Listening to the first question, Victoria made a small sigh and explained, "I had just recently transferred to the school Mr. Heresworth was teaching at... and some girls picked on me for my hair and how I acted. So... I accidentally took my frustrations out on them when they had started attacking me in a physical way." There was a bit of shame in her tone and she felt quite bad about herself for having done that. The next question made Victoria a little more curious, though. She as right, wolves and vampires were not on the greatest of terms most of the time. Even she herself wondered why he was dedicated on helping her. The most she could say was, "well, I guess that is because he feels like I am innocent and deserve something better than death. I did not mean to do what I had done, it was purely instinct to protect myself." As she wondered and though about it, some things started to ponder in the girl's mind. She looked over to the fairy and plopped down on the ground cross-legged, staring up at the girl. Letting her questions and thoughts verbalize, she asked the girl, "Why do you think that he would help me? You are his friend and most likely know more about him. I think his soft side is only noticeable to others, he just picks on me and teases me." She huffed a bit and stared at the door, sticking her tongue out towards where Cole would be at.

xxxxSitting in the living room, Cole wasn't sure what would come out of this visit. In all reality, he felt bad for coming to Shima when he needed help, though he knew she was there for him but it was still rude. After all, he hadn't come around much to just hang out or spend time together, no, he was here because he needed help. But she had went through the same thing, she understood that he didn't have the time to stick around. He needed to get out of here as soon as possible. Sitting on the couch, he could hear her and Victoria talking and he just hoped that the fairy didn't interrogate the poor werewolf. After all, it wouldn't only be awkward for him but for the girl? Oh, she'd have it worse than he would. After all, Shima knew not to ask him such questions, Cole would never answer and already, the fairy was pestering Victoria for answers that she couldn't get from the vampire. If not for the fact that he didn't want to walk in and see anything he wasn't supposed to, he would've already pulled Victoria away from the curious little fairy. "Don't forget that I can hear you two! Shima, can it! There's nothing going on!" He called out, shaking his head and standing to look outside to check and make sure they hadn't been followed. Peeling the curtains back, he watched the outside world for a few moments before closing it, soon sitting back on the couch. Hopefully Victoria would realize that this wasn't the time for gossip, they really didn't have much time.

Even after Cole had yelled at the two, Shima was bound determined to find out just why he was saving this girl. The fairy knew that Cole was a kind man, he didn't see a point in letting someone die if they were innocent. But he wouldn't be risking himself this much, so what was really going on? Why did he feel the need to go with her? To protect her? The fairy watched the girl, noting how timid she was. "Take what ya want, girly! Plain clothes will make you stand out more. You're practically screaming; 'Hey, I'm on the run! Look at me!'" Shima snorted, grabbing a few pretty shirts and a jacket and then shoving them into the bag. If there was one thing to be known about Shima, she was persistent. "Take what you like, really. These don't really even fit me any more." She stated, lying through her teeth though what did she care? They were just clothes. When the girl explained her story, Shima felt a bit sorry for her, she had saved a boy due to the same exact thing. Push came to shove and he shoved back after constantly being picked on. Cole had come to help her with that case, though things hadn't worked out in the end. After all Shima risked for him, he broke her heart in two and left.

"Well, just know that he's risking a lot to help you. He did this for me and if you abandon him, I will track you down and I will kill you. You're innocent, that's why he wants to help but he's putting himself on the line for you. He's a real good friend, a real loyal man. You couldn't have done better, you'll be safe with him." Shima assured the girl, looking to her before gesturing for her to get up. "I have some hair dye in the bathroom, take your pick.. Cut and dye your hair, it'll help you two hide." She stated, soon leaving the room to get Cole accomodated, setting him up with clothes and giving him contacts to hide his icy blue eyes.

Victoria Bellanger

As Victoria was packing things, a few more items came into her hands, given to her by Shima. Claiming that she did not mind and thought Victoria could use more clothing that didn't purposefully make her look like she was hiding something. Blushing a bit, Victoria nodded and folded them up to put in the bag. The wolf girl put the jacket on happily and smiled, "this is my new favorite item that you have given me. Thank you, Shima." As she finished packing and setting the bag in the hallway, she turned back around to observe herself in the mirror. She picked some twigs and leaves out of her hair and flattened it down softly. Her eyes were still a weird color from when she had turned. Shaking her head and feeling her ears to check if they were normal she turned back to Shima. Her ears were still her pointy, wolf ears. She twitched them a little bit and tried to force them to go away, but could not. She hid them using her hair and listened to the point that the fairy was making.

Victoria had no want to die at this moment or any time soon. Shaking her head, she stated to the fairy, "I would not dream of abandoning Cole or letting anything bad happen to him at all. We, together, have a far better chance of survival together rather than apart and I am determined to keep it that way. Even if he hates me, I want to protect him and return the favor he has done for me. I'm not sure yet how I can possibly do that, but I am working on it and I will prevail. I believe that he is one of the greatest men that's lived for as long as he has been alive. I trust him with my life." She nodded happily and smiled as Shima left the room. Cole was too kind for helping her in the first place and there was no use trying to convince him to leave. They had plans now and she was very excited to enjoy them with Cole. It wouldn't be all vacation, but whatever chances they could get, she wanted to enjoy the better parts of life. Not being shoved in a room and living like she had always wanted to. Living life in the open land day and night. Enjoying the freedoms she had never had.

Walking to the bathroom, the young wolf stared at the hair dye and frowned. She wasn't sure what color to dye her hair. She settled on a brown color that could make the red go away and hide it well. The funny thing was her wolf form would not be affected by this. As Victoria left the dye in for the required time, she was adamant about cutting her hair. It was very long and she knew something had to be done about it, but she loved her long hair. Sucking up her pride, she decided on a style that would look appropriate for her. After it was all done and over with, she came out to show Cole and Shima, "did I do alright? Do I look like a different person?"

xxxx"Your new favorite? Why is that?" Shima was puzzled, it wasn't every day that some random werewolf teenager was dragged into her home needing a favor. It wasn't every day that she gave away her own clothes, either but if it was helping Cole she really didn't mind. It seemed that Victoria was finished choosing clothes and Shima watched as she packed her stuff into a bag. "Now to change the rest of you. I think if you get some contacts, cut your hair a bit and dye it, you'll be all set." The fairy spoke, doing her best to give some insight on what to do. After all, she wasn't sure that this was Victoria's first time of running away but the sooner she changed her appearance, the better. It was apparent that the werewolf girl was focusing on trying to hide her ears though Shima knew where to look so as much as Victoria tried to hide them, they were still apparent. "Until those go away.. All you need is a beanie. It'll solve your problem. Because someone trained to look for those will find them. No matter how much you try to hide them with your hair. They'll still stick out like a sore thumb. Best bet is to get a beanie." She explained, making her way to her drawer and looking at Victoria and her outfit thoughtfully. Grabbing a beanie, she tossed it to the girl, smiling slightly.

When the girl realized that Shima was over-protective of Cole, she gave a speech, something that caught the fairy's interest. Ah, these two would be together by the summer, she guaranteed it, that's if Victoria could get past the barriers that Cole had placed up. Even Shima had trouble getting the male to show himself for who he really was. He was always withdrawn, always distant, always so careful. But in the time of him being here with Victoria, she was starting to see it. Now that this was handled, Shima needed to tend to Cole, help him get ready. While she was doing this, giving him a hair cut and giving him what clothes she could, she could smell the stuff that Victoria was using to dye her hair. Would she be cutting it as well? As far as Shima was concerned, it was for the best, no matter how pretty the girl's hair was. "She's almost ready. You two will have to make haste. They will be here within the next hour - you need to be gone before they get here so I can cover your scents. Especially hers..." Shima stated, not particularly meaning anything bad but it was best if Victoria's scent was covered carefully.

Cole was silent, having his own bag ready, his mind was a mess. Could he do this? Was this worth it? Why wasn't he just sending her on his way and getting the hell out of dodge? It would make things so much easier, him being caught on the run with her could be the end to his life, at least he'd only be running from police if he were to just leave her. No, he couldn't do that, it was wrong. She wouldn't stand a chance without him and he was sure that they already knew. And there was no use in betraying Victoria and making her face this alone if they had already been figured out. When she came out, he looked her over, glad to see that she'd changed more than just her clothes. "Very much different, good job." He praised, his eyes on the girl. "Thank you, Shima, for your help. If anything happens, you don't hesitate to fight and run. I'll be watching out for you, so if you ever need us, just find us. We'll come to you." And with that, he was gesturing for Victoria to follow him, making his way to the door his bag on his back.
