So I have an ultrasound later today (nothing serious folks!) and I need to drink a litre (which is about 1/3 of a gallon roughly) of water before hand. About an hour or so before. Here's the trick though....you can't pee or it defeats the purpose! And then while they do the ultrasound (for anyone who hasn't had one - a pelvic one in this case) they press pretty firmly near your bladder. And you can't pee!
