Totally, forgot it was on. How is it? What stories have they gone over? They discussed creation while Noah was on the ark then they went to Exodus with the story of Abraham and his family, went over Sodom and Gomorrah, then Lot's wife turning into a pillar of salt, then Moses with the plagues and setting his people free. It was really really good.

Overall, I am enjoying it. I understand that they have to cut certain parts out of the show. The Bible is a pretty big book, after all. Still, it bothers me when they get stuff just wrong.

Servant Reborn How can they get it wrong when the Bible is available to read? sad They have to make some cuts because the Bible is so massive. Unfortunately, some of the changes they made don't accurately portray the characters. For example, when Nathan tells David that God will take his son with Bathsheba away. In the Bible, David goes into a depression and starts praying and writes one of the best Psalms in the book (Take not Thy spirit from me). In the show, David just replies "We shall see!" which puts David more in like with Saul than anything else.

eek Wow. I understand making cuts, but changing the "characters" like that I don't understand. At the very least, I hope people will become interested to actually read the Bible to learn the truth.

I'm not American and I don't have television. (I mean, I have a television, but it's only hooked up to a DVD player and my video game consoles.)
I'll definitely try to download it or find it streaming online, though.
