We're so glad you've decided to join us here at Otherworld University. This is a place to enrich and broaden your mind, try new things, expand your knowledge, debate and discuss, and enhance your creativity.
About this forum. Here you will find threads for discussion, instruction, displaying your talent, and more. Each thread is run by an expert or otherwise qualified moderator known as a threadmaster. In the first post of each thread you will find the type (open, application only, invite only, invite/application, closed), the thread rules, the moderators, and an introduction inside a spoiler. Please read these carefully.
About becoming a threadmaster.A threadmaster is someone who opens a thread and acts as the head. They lead discussions, instruct, moderate, etc. They may choose others to help moderate content. To become a threadmaster, you must have a post count over 100, be on the crew, or have special permission. You must also be an active poster, prove extensive knowledge on a topic, follow thread formatting, and have a topic that members would consider interesting.
Threadmaster responsibilities. As a threadmaster, you must invite users to the guild weekly, follow all guild rules, follow thread formatting, appoint moderators, post a minimum of four days each week, keep a lively and enriching thread, offer new information and ways of thinking, and keep a fair mind. If your thread is not up to par; requirements are not met for any reason; or you fail to follow any guidelines, formatting, or rules, your thread will be taken from you and 1) awarded to another user, 2) run by the captain, or 3) deleted or locked.
