I'm dealing with both today. My roommate had to put her cat down this afternoon and I'm currently trying to play games with numbers so that I don't have to pay 10% of my income.
Fun times.

are you unfortunate enough to be self employed? i do hate that.
i always claim zero deductions so come April i at least do not have to chip in anything more.
one could thing about taxes; it means that somehow somewhere i was actually earning money! smile
and oh i am so sad about the cat! i held our dog while the ASPCA gave her a shot that paralyzed her lungs (they made me hold her, they said they couldn't do anything otherwise) and then they mocked me for crying.
