This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Ask. Only a member of staff or ShinyObsessed should post here.

Additional notes: Possessed by a Fire elemented Malice. Base attack of 3d6.
Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.
Action: Attack

Damage Done: 13 + 5 for elemental advantage = 17

Ask had volunteered to help out the humans and was glad he had when he heard that Kei had also offered. He didn't want Kei out there in danger. Not that he couldn't take care of himself. Probably better then Ask could even. But still.
When he saw the first human he was to fight, he felt pity for them, but not surprise, he'd dreamed this of course.
Ask saw the elemental attack coming and swiftly stepped between dimensions but not before it hit. He took a few steps to recover and then returned to his home dimension to aim a punch at the possessed human's face.

The human took full damage, but then unleashed a flamethrower from his mouth in retaliation.

[Since Ask didn't defend, he took the full damage from the last attack so his HP should actually be 58/75. If you need to take a look at some of the other battle threads to get a hang of how attacking/defending works]

Ask grabbed the human who just shot fire out of his mouth and stepped between worlds. Not even two steps later he flashed back into the home dimension in time to use the human as a shield for the fireballs.

He wasn't sure how he got there, or hit with his own attack, but he knew the Meta had done something. He ignited himself with flames, angrily attempting to elbow Ask in the stomach to get away.

Ask stumbled away a bit gasping from the fire encased elbow to the gut and quickly ran some healing energy through his body.

He didn't stop there. Running up to Ask he threw a punch covered in his flames, not wanting to give the kid a chance to run.

Ask sidled and grabbed the human's arm above the flames and immediately teleported them into the middle of a lake. He quickly used his wings to keep him out of the water and make sure that the human didn't actually drown.

The water caught him off guard, so in a panic he ignited what parts of him were still above it in hopes of getting the Meta to release him. At least he knew how to swim...
