Choki Akimichi
~Food Driven Wrecking ball~ Choki who was set aside to himself watched the others dart off. He stood up and grabbed his bag and with a sigh he ran behind the group by means of ground as followed them to there filed of combat against the Kage. Being slower than the rest of them he would get there last but he was ok with this cause he could even uses this for his advantage with his course of action in mind. The idea in mind is to at last stand up.. but the lack of skills he had would only be minor when he out sizes the buildings in a area. 'Exits to New Kikyō Castle and Castle Grounds' Occ: EH ~~

It smelled of trees, grass, and faraway water. It was splendid. The air was pleasantly warm, but there was a cool breeze. It was a very peaceful day. It was a bit of a shame that it wouldn't last. While Laram waited for his training partner to arrive, he started stretching his muscles. Allowing the blood to flow, Laram's body began warming up. His friend Mashiro was supposed to be on his way. He and Laram had finally gotten some time off between missions to train. They had promised to teach each other some jutsus, as well as learn some new ones. Laram had a couple in mind, but he wanted to learn Mashiro's technique first. He even bought some special claws to use with it. After he finished stretching, Laram sat in the grass and waited for his friend to arrive.
"He'll get here soon. In the meantime, it can't hurt to close my eyes for a bit." Laram layed down in the grass and closed his eyes. The sun's rays caressed his face with warmth and he smiled. In his fast paced life, it was nice to enjoy small moments like this one. The grass tickled his skin while it blew in the wind. Laram chuckled to himself. As he began contemplating a nap, a shadow blocked the sunlight. He peeked up to see his friend standing over him with a look of amused annoyance. Laram closed his eye and chuckled again. "Took you long enough to get here. My muscles have almost cooled down. Warm up and we'll get started."╚═══════════════════════════════╝

Mashiro retorted as he cracked his neck. "A kid from the academy was trying out a new shuriken technique and ended up slicing her leg open. Poor girl was crying the whole time I healed her." The memory brought a smirk to the boy's face, though not because he had found the girl's situation amusing. "It actually reminded me of a certain someone I know who came crying to me after jumping off the academy roof and breaking his leg."
Feeling sufficiently warmed up, Mashiro placed a hand over one of the katana resting at his hips as he offered the other one to his partner to help him up. "What technique did you want to start with?" He asked. "I'm pretty much up for anything."__________________________________________________________________________________

Also, I don't think a broken leg warranted a full body cast. I was stuck in that thing for six weeks thanks to you. Do you have any idea how hard it is to go to the bathroom in one of those things?" Laram smirked right back at his friend. They had been together since before either of them could remember, taking care of one another. After all, with their parents dead, they had to. Laram thought about his partner's proposition. For a while, Laram had wanted to learn Mashiro's Flying Swallow jutsu. He even bought special claws to use it with. They were made of the special chakra metal, only Laram's were different. He rigged them so that they could retract along his arm, and come forth whenever Laram wanted them to. He thought it was cool. However, that wasn't the only thing Laram wanted to learn in the day. There were quite a few he wanted to try, but that seemed to be the easiest.
"Well, there's a few jutsu I wanted to learn today. But let's start off with your Flying Swallow jutsu. That's really all I wanted from you. What about you? Is there anything special you want me to teach you?" Laram was starting to get antsy, one of the jutsu he wanted to learn was the Chidori, which he knew would take quite a bit of time. He wanted to get started as soon as possible.╚═══════════════════════════════╝

"Those were the best six weeks of my life..." Obviously he hadn't needed to mummify his friend just because of a broken leg, but with him more or less out of commission, Mashiro had had the run of the house for a while. Good times. When Laram asked about learning jutsu though, his mind immediately went back to work. "I'd like to learn that Shadow Clone Jutsu of yours." He replied. "But let's get the Swallow technique over with first.
Mashiro calmly drew one of his katana and held it out in front of him for his friend to see. "The technique itself isn't very hard to learn." He explained. "Even a mediocre ninja can release chakra from their fingertips for jutsu. This is pretty similar. Just focus your chakra on the weapon in your hands." To show his point, the boy slowly began infusing the blade in front of him with his chakra. Almost instantly, a teal colored aura spread around the katana, adding a few more inches onto the blade and giving it a very lethal appearance.
"The hard part is maintaining the technique." He continued. "Your chakra control needs to be both precise and unwavering, or else the technique will crumble instantly." He let the aura fade, leaving his katana in its original appearance before sheathing it. "Let's start small. Take out your claws and try focusing your chakra into them. Wind nature is the most compatible for the technique, so try focusing on that aspect of your chakra as you flow it into the blades."__________________________________________________________________________________

"You mean like this?" Laram focused his chakra into his hands, and tried flowing it into the claws. The result was a backlash of chakra onto the back of his hands. It stung horribly and he shook his hands to try to alleviate the pain. "That didn't work." He wanted to keep trying, but he wasn't going to make Mashiro wait for him to finish. He retracted his claws and placed his hands in the seal needed to create shadow clones. "Shadow clones are very different than regular ones. These are not illusions, but actual copies of the user. So, they take more chakra to create. Also, the user's chakra is dispersed evenly between all of the clones, so keep that in mind when you make them. If you make too many, they will all be weaker as a result. These clones can take a few hits before dispersing, but don't count on them to do any serious fighting."
Laram created two shadow clones to show Mashiro how it was done. Both of them nodded to Laram and then to Mashiro before they walked a ways off to start training. As Laram watched them leave, he spoke to Mashiro again. "Another thing to know about shadow clones is that they retain all information they learn. For example, I'm using clones to speed up my training in the flying swallow technique. I'm able to do this because once those clones disperse, I will receive all of the information they learned. It's really a bit of a two edged sword really. I learn things faster, but I also exhaust my chakra quicker this way. You need to find the balance between conserving your chakra, and making more clones. I've found that making two or three is the best way to do it. Well, I'm going to leave you to it, and start training. Yell out if you need my help with something." Laram ran off about fifty yards away from his friend. He really wanted to get started.╚═══════════════════════════════╝

MOKUBA SENJU
Tree Sage of Konoha Genin I Konohagakure I Senju "I'm the best, and if you dare forget it..."
Mokuba strode confidently into the Training Grounds, stretching his arms. He had woken up nearly two hours ago, but being the lazy bum that he was, had decided quite firmly to stay in bed for another hour and a half. When the rumbling in his belly, not to mention the nagging sensation that he ought to go train, finally got the best of him, Mokuba rose groggily, showered, ate a quick breakfast and ran to the Grounds.
Seeing other genin besides himself brought a slight smile to Mokuba's face. Having other people meant he could train with them, and hopefully get better. One person in particular caught his eye, a slight, white-haired boy across the field from him. He looked so incredibly familiar to Mokuba, but the tall young genin couldn't quite put a name to his face.
"Hey, you there. Yeah, you. What's your name?" He asked, his honest face smiling brightly. A new friend would definitely be nice. Mokuba hadn't really interacted with anyone, even though he had lived in Konoha for many years. He simply preferred to train on his own and cultivate his garden, nothing against anyone.
"Death itself won't stop me from making you remember." Mood: Hopeful

In truth, he hated being interrupted while he was training. Not to mention that this person seemed a bit rude. "Uh..It's Laram. Anyway, nice to meet you. If you'll excuse me."
With that out of the way, Laram got down to business. With Mashiro's words resounding in his head, Laram tried again. He released his claws and focused his chakra in his hands. Mashiro had told him that wind nature chakra was the most compatible with the technique. So he tried switching it. That was a little more difficult to do than think about. Whenever he did ninjutsu the change was instantaneous, and he didn't have to think about it too much. But with this, he had to think about the change. So he concentrated more on the change in his chakra, rather than trying to channel it into his claws. To understand how to change the nature of his chakra at will, Laram thought that he needed to understand how his chakra system worked. Laram sat in the grass and closed his eyes. He focused inward into the center of his being and tried to feel its' flow. It took a little bit of time, but he was finally able to sense his chakra center. He began to feel the energy flow throughout his body in its' natural motion. He focused on it traveling through his arms and back again. He poked at it mentally and tried to switch its' nature. After a few minutes, he successfully was able to switch the nature of his chakra at will.
Once he was confident that he could change his chakra nature when he desired, Laram began to work on controlling its' flow. He knew that if he was able to get these fundamentals down now, learning jutsu would be simpler down the road. Since he was able to recognize the natural flow of his chakra, he began to push it towards his arms. It was actually easier than he thought. He could easily push his chakra into his hands, but he was able to do that already. However, with Mashiro's words in his head again, Laram remembered that he had to maintain it. With jutsu's the release was instantaneous. But with this technique, he had to maintain a steady, unwavering stream of chakra. It was like the tree walking technique. That wasn't so difficult. Before he tried to channel his chakra into his claws, Laram worked on pushing his chakra out of his hands steadily. At first, it was choppy and unstable, but with a bit of time he was able to achieve his goal.
The next step was to combine everything he worked on together into a complete technique. He had bits and pieces of the what he needed, and he felt like he was almost there. He released his claws and began to work on channeling his chakra into them. It was more difficult than simply releasing his chakra out of his hands. The metal was much harder to work with than he figured in the beginning. He thought that it would come natural to him, but he was wrong. He had to sit down again. Closing his eyes, he focused on the metal in his hands and forced his chakra into them. They flared up with energy with a burst, and died out again. He had finally cracked it, but he had to get the measure of chakra down. He changed the nature of his chakra into that of wind, and pushed it into the claws again; with the same result. He was forcing it, when he needed to treat the claws as extensions of his hands. He worked on it for around half an hour and he finally got the technique down. He stood up and channeled his wind chakra into his claws. They glowed blue and elongated about a foot and a half longer. He sliced them through the air to make sure that his technique wouldn't flounder when he was in a pinch. He was confident that it wouldn't.

"Uh... It's Laram. Anyway, nice to meet you. If you'll excuse me." Mokuba mulled that over in his head. Had he met a Laram before? He didn't think he had, at least not that he could remember. Strangely, this boy seemed familiar, but it wasn't the boy himself. It was more his... general features. The way he talked, and held himself, almost like a distant cousin of some kind.
Realizing that he was definitely intruding on this boy's training time, Mokuba respectfully stopped talking, simply watching the boy train. The claws he had looked fearsome indeed, but what he was doing with them interested Mokuba far more than just the weapons alone. It seemed he was... elongating them? For a moment, Mokuba didn't believe his eyes. After a few moments of thought, he understood the general gist of what Laram was doing. He wasn't really elongating them, he was simply adding a second skin of chakra over them, to increase their range to almost short-sword length. With a sigh, the Senju realized that he didn't have anywhere near such capabilities, at least not with Wind Release Chakra. To be honest, his weapons skills were flimsy at best, having never spent much time refining them. His taijutsu wasn't bad though, and he could hold his own with his Mokuton jutsu.
"Hey," Mokuba said, not able to contain himself any longer. "What's your full name? I feel like I know you somehow."
