*shortstraw was moivng at his quick speed, chopping the enemys to bits whenever they neared, however ducking as they span and took on the ambush, "are you supprized, i'm the leader of the brotherhood after all. and i choose my members wisely!" He chukkled, and as the last one started to turn away and start running shortstraw stood up, pulled his crossbow form his back and fired it into the last one. "But what are the story with these enemys were facing?" He looked to prophet, "why are they here, and who are they working for?"

Prophet thought as he stabbed into one of the Promthean's helmets, Dang. Shortstraw may not be a soldier, but hell he's a fighter. "They're humans binded with an alien technology, and the aliens are related to humans, they're called Forerunners." Prophet said, reloading his weapon. He then let is go back into his armor, and said, "They're supposed to be blue in color, not orange, so that means that only one forerunner is after me, one I locked up five years ago." Prophet then looked around, and said, "His name is Didact." As if on cue, AJ ran in and asked, "Are you two alright? Ah killed some of 'em Prometh-whatever you call 'ems." Prophet smiled, and said, "Yes, we're both alright." Just then, some civilians came out of their homes, and started cheering towards their heroes. Prophet smiled, and said, "Maybe lunch doesn't sound so bad afterall, that and I'm starving. Let's go eat." But then, the civilians looked up, and started running back to their homes and shops to hide. Prophet looked around, and asked, "What are they running at?" Prophet then turned around, and started to say, "Son of a bi-" He then got tackled by a Heavy armed Promethean. It turned around, and a metalic roar came from it's helmet, as it ran towards Shortstraw. But Prophet jumped ontop of it, and started to shoot at it's back. "Well, don't just stand there, help me!" Prophet ordered, reloading his M16, and started firing again. AJ just smiled, brang her shotgun out, and jumped on it's back, right next to Prophet, and yelled, "YEE-HAW! Just like a rodeo!" AJ started laughing, aiming her shotgun at the same spot Prophet was shooting at, and started firing at it. Prophet then got thrown to the wall, and his vision started to blur up. "Prophet!" A scream made Prophet want to move around, but a sharp pain came from his shoulder. He looked to his left shoulder, and saw a pipe stuck into it. He pulled the pipe out, and threw it at the big blur, or the armored Promethean. He then grabbed his left shoulder, and started to growl in pain from the hit.

*Shortstraw looked to the large matalic alien thing. He glared as he held up his left arm, which had one his gotlets, it fired out a spear and chain that stuck tot he side of the prom-whatever as he ran around the thing to rapp it up a bit before he pulled himself into the air and slamed his hidden blade into the enemy's back... thing about shortstaws hidden blade, it was called Veria's tooth. It was incoded with a spechal poision that killed anything it could puncture through horrable and quick working on impact poision.*

Prophet smiled, seeing the Promethean fall, it's orange glow on the crevices of it's armor fading. Prophet looked around, his left arm wounded, but still worked, the pipe didn't hit any muscles or tendons. Prophet then used his suit to heal, the suit digging into the wound, and creating blood and white, microscopic squid to help the blood out by healing faster. The suit out of the wound, and the skin returned, being created in a few seconds. Prophet moved his arm, seeing no wound, and didn't feel any pain. "Nice one Shortstraw." Prophet said, smiling at the hidden blade mark at the Promethean's back. AJ looked at her watch, and said, "Ah best be goin'. Or else granny is gonna be mader then a bull at a red flag. See ya later Prophet." AJ ran to him, and took off his helmet, and pecked him on the cheek. She then ran towards her farm, near Prophet's home. Prophet touched where she kissed him on the cheek, and put his helmet on. Before he did, you could notice a new battle scar over his right eye; a gift from the parting Prometheans. Prophet smiled dumbly, looked at Shortstraw, and said, "Don't judge me."

*Shortstraw powered down as his armor faded and he put his weapons back into his brotherhood cloak, "why would I, i'm just a human remember." He chukkled.

Prophet smiled, and said, "Good point there." Prophet then realized what he just said, and looked at him, "Except for one tiny part; you're a demon." Prophet then looked around, and said, "Might aswell relax since we're here." Prophet's stomach growled after he said that, and he blushed from embarrasment. "But first, we'll eat." Prophet said, smiling, and walking towards a resturant. He then stopped, and asked, "Are you coming or staying out here?" He turned around, waiting for Shortstraw.

*Shortstraw shook his head as he followed his friend into the resteront, "no i'm not demon. I'm just a human with a bloodline of demon killers that started back in anchant times." He chukkled, "it's complicated, but i really am just a human in the end. Kind like... a super hero." He laughed.

Prophet smiled, and said, "I get it, but be careful around one of my friends, she's a demon, her name is HG, but she's harfmless, unless you want to attack her friends, her, or me." Prophet then smiled, before remembering, "After this, we're going to my home to meet my family and friends, but first I got to send a warning so we don't bash into anything personnal." Prophet grabbed a peice of paper out, wrote on it, then breath fire on it, before it dissapeared, no ash or dust, nothing. "Like I said earlier, dragons are full of suprises." Prophet said, smiling, and walking into the restraunt.
