Ever since he had come home one day a wail ago Sacha kept praising a young Ista male for working so hard to become a knight and never even learning how to play. Yet at the same time he was wondering how the training was going. That dragon stallion was such a strange one. He would never even think of a career for himself but he did respect and worry about others from time to time. The children dragon was off playing some kind of game that Lore Eery called laundry wail the bright Ista wandered up the mountain to try and see how the night sky Ista was doing.

The auburn haired stallion made his way easily enough the steep path. There is nothing wrong with going to see one's friend but if this Ista that lived where Gwilith were he did not need him possibly upsetting the childish dragon. If he were grown now being raised with Gwilith might have developed a bias towards Leagil. He was a knight but still even the most noble Mearh sometimes got caught up in political or factions. And what might have once been a simple playmate at one time could be seen in a darker light. Most adults did not find the strange scaled stallion something kind of thing they wanted around their youth or as something that should be left alive. Often the crimson scaled stallion would come home to cling to the Wand stallion crying over some ignorant Mearh's actions towards him. So he promised he would find the would be Ista knight and see how he was doing and if he had really become what he had been training for.

Astrin was working hard on his training as usual. Having recently been recognized as an adult, he was determined to work hard and finally prove that he was ready to become a knight. Having trained most of his life for it, he was so ready to become a knight that he could almost taste it. He just wanted to accomplish his dream and make everyone proud of him. If he could do that then he would be content with life. Swinging his sword, he sliced one of the dummies he had working with in half, laughing as it fell to pieces unexpectedly.

"Apparently I used too much of my strength," he grinned, leaning down to pick up his fallen dummy. His large, muscular arms easily lifted the heavy dummy back into place, although it was slightly off now that part of it was missing. If he wanted to do anything more he would have to go grab another one.

"I apologize, sir dummy, but I will have to replace you now," he grinned, lifting it up and placing it off to the side where his other dummies he had destroyed were. "Now to go search for another one," he muttered to himself, heading off into the forest.

The sound of a blade slashing threw the air was not a sound that was unfamiliar to the wand stallion. He himself was fairly well versed in blades. Though he was not a knight by any means he knew how to use them well enough. He preferred daggers himself. So as he heard the swish of a blade slicing threw the air and the heavy sound of something falling to the ground his ears flicked and he turned towards the sound. It would seem that he had found the night who trained in the woods that his childish ward had played with.

He could hear the muffled sound of talking as he drew closer. But when the bright skinned Ista walked into the clearing he found it empty but for a target pole and a pile of several dummies in half. It would seem that this teenage colt had found some strength. He lowered his ears. If this Astrin could not control his strength there was no way the wand would allow the knight to play with the dragon again. He walked over to the pile of fallen dummies pushes a few of them around with his hoof. They were all clean cuts some of the dummies having had other parts apart from just their torso's being severed.

Turning back from the pile he moved back in front of the target and looking at he was going to judge how much strength was needed for a teenage to strike so. He looked down in the dust seeing only large hoof tread. He placed his own in the hoof prints of Astrin and assumed a the stance. "Ah I see...so he is an adult now..well Sacha shall be disappointed there...but they almost always grow up. "

umming to himself as he walked, Astrin made his way through the forest to find a suitable practice dummy. Usually he tried to find an old stump to use since he would feel bad about cutting into a tree or bush. It took him quite a while to find a dead stump that wasn't rotted, but once he did he went about finding some good limbs to attach to it. Fallen branches always worked well for the limbs, and were never very hard to find.

"This should do nicely," he smiled, admiring his handiwork as he glnaced over his newly created dummy. He enjoyed crafting them into different things, it was just a shame that he broke them so fast.

I guess that's what happens when you practice all of the time.

It would seem that he just barely missed the knight so now it looked like unless he wanted to go hunt down the knight he would need to wait. Living with the dragon stallion it was not hard to learn how to be extremely patient. He took a few steps to set himself down on the pile of fallen dummies to wait for the night sky foal. He crossed his legs as he waited looking over the nearest dummy to him. The things he did for that stupid dragon. Though he would continue to do them with out fail. He would often tease the child like stallion and might seem stern with him but he was rather found of his young minded master.

"I hope your little night shows up quickly. I can only wonder what your doing to the laundry." He said to himself. His tail flicking against the ground belong the dummies. He wondered what the Ista was like. Sacha could be far to complimentive to Mearh he had just met or hardly knew.

Quickly making his way back over to the training area, Astrin was very surprised when he saw the bright yellow stallion sitting on his discarded dummies. He had never seen the Ista before, and that worried him more than anything else. Though usually no one wandered around this area, there was always the possibility that bandits could be lurking around every corner.

"Uhm...hello sir? Is there something you needed?" he questioned a little nervously, resting his hand on his blade. He did not want to use a weapon on another mearh, but if it came down to it he was prepared to do just that. He would rather protect others and himself than have another mearh hurt others.

Lore sat straight back on the dummy his body language was prim and proper. He did not mind waiting, his tail flicking behind them. When the other night sky Ista returned he turned slowly to look at him. "Do not reach for your blade child I did not come for a fight. You are the would be knight known as Astrin are you not?" He asked as he stood up slowly his movements gracefully and proper. Hidden in the the tie at the base of his tail were two daggers that he had no trouble uses if the other really wanted a fight but he preferred not to have to life a hand in fighting. "Again I am not here to fight simple to talk with you if you are in fact this Astrin."

"That is indeed me," the stallion smiled hesitantly, his thumb brushing against the hilt of his blade as he nervously stepped closer. The other Ista confused him profusely with his presence, but there was no real reason for him to worry to much just yet.

"Do you need something, sir? I don't believe we have met, and you don't seem to be a knight of the watch, so why would you want to speak to me?" he questioned curiously.

Lore allowed himself a chuckle at the other's comment. "Why the hell would I be a knight of the watch? Nor align myself with any factor who alliances will change depending on who is in power? Any form of politics I try to avoid. No the reason I am here is simple a friend we have in common wish to see how you were coming along in your training. However the nature of what he is prevents me form being willing to hand him over to a would be or what looks like the beginnings of an official knight. To appease him and to prevent him from falling into a distasteful situation I offered to come in his head. So how is your training going and how is your health doing Sir Astrin?
