wondering what it was like, it would be a change to him, but it shouldnt be much different from all the other small place's he stayed at; he pondered in thought as he nudges the bag of gold back up over his back

Rex thought for a moment or two."A bit but i can change that since i dont want to cause you any trouble.....well its not really big and its not really small so i would say some where in the middle...if its to small for ya i can add more....I build most of it on my own any ways."

thinking he was going to be the kind of boyfriend that would maybe have to do chores for him. not knowing what to expect really it was all very new to him

Rex smiled a bit as he looked over at the other."Thats great."He thought for a bit."Well you dont have to clean if you dont want too....its up to you."He smiled even more when he said he could cook."Gosh you just stole more of my heart...i suck a cooking really....i stick to can goods most of the time cause it is simple....i burn almost everything."

a small giggle escaped him as rex mentioned the fact he burnt most of his food
" well i have that good of a nose, i can tell what the most fresh items are at a store, i am pretty good, though i have been known to cut myself, but that doesnt effect the fact my food tastes good. "
finding himself alittle flattered that loir had stole alittle of rex's heart tho feels he maybe over exaggerating.
" well will i be at home all day ? if so i would rather be doing things to keep me busy so cleaning ins't much of a problem if that is what you require. "
still walking forward he didnt notice the tree trunk ahead stuck up from the ground, as he was distracted with talking, before he knew it, he was flat on the floor face first and back end in the air " Ullfff"

Rex smile a bit more."I be there to make sure you don't cut your self."He gave Loir a small nuzzle."Some weeks we wont be home at all cause i have found some work and others we will be here so i guess it depends really." As Loir fell over the tree truck and rushed to help him quickly."You ok?"

He sniffs the air around him getting a rather unusual scent from the wind, twitching his ears as rex came closer.

Rex gave him a small nuzzle and looked at Loir's paw."you got a graze...let me have a look."He wanted to take care of the other since no one ever took care of him."Really i'll leave it up to you so you dont have to come with me if you dont want to."

he tweaks his ears as rex offers to look at his paw
" it is fine honest " he says as he licks it softly and place's it back on the ground
being alone for so long he would probably get used to being left behind if rex had jobs he had to do
" i wouldnt want to be in your way, I am used to being alone, it isnt nothing i dont do on a regular basis "
he continue to walk in the direction they had been walking in with a slight limb in his step with his foot stinging slightly.
Maybe life wouldnt be that different the only difference would be at least he would have a constant roof over his head, and hot water for a bath or shower maybe.

Rex gave Loir a worried look. He would make him let him clean it once they got home. good for him home was just up ahead a mile or so more."Hey now with a nose and ears like yours you would be far from in my way...i would put you to work."He said the last part with a small chuckle."We have just one more mile till home then we can relax."

A mile till home ? he took afew sniffs the smell of bricks and refined wood up ahead, well there was a building there so that was a start he supposed.

Rex chuckled a bit at his words. Looking down to the other paw with worry in his eyes."Loir maybe i should help you get the rest of the way home. That paw is looking like hell and i dont like the looks of it."He did want the other to be in pain. They where so very close to home now."Home is only about half a mile now please let me help you so you can feel a little better at lest."

Loir looked toward's rex's voice as it rang with concern
" why are you concerned with me ? i dont understand why "
rex mentioned about him being cute and things but still they didnt know each other all that well, how could he be concerned for him, it was a nice feeling though, to have another care about him.
he allowed rex to assist him putting up a small fight at first but letting up after as he see's rex is the stubborn type.
Not far from the house with rex's support he leg still shooting with pain and the swelling not looking any better

sensing he didnt live in a town being as they were still surrounded by trees and grass

Rex smiled at the other lightly."I'm a nice guy and i don't like seeing other in pain or in trouble."He could see the house just up a head they would make it there very shortly."I like my peace and quite.It's good for thinking and relaxing but it does get lonely...but i have you to talk to and do thing with now.....Your leg is looking extremely bad."
