I told my Dad that I wanted a class ring. All my friends were getting one. Dad says Rachel there between 2-4 hundred dollars. I was thinking if we went to look at rings in Macy's and depending on prices Ill get you a ring that can be like a class ring, but Rachel in all honestly you might only wear it for a year or two and then forget all about it. (class ring) When your friends ask, you can tell them it is your class ring, but I (dad) promise to keep on loving you no matter what comes in your life. I want you to wear the ring and look at it and make a promise to your future husband. stay pure till you get married when he asks you to marry him someday and you accept take my ring off the left and put it on your right and put your new engagement ring on your left. This ring I (dad) bought you is a sign of how much I love you and will always be there for you no matter what! He gave my ring to me yesterday. biggrin

That's really, really sweet. My mom gave me a promise ring when I was a little girl. On my 17th birthday, we made it into a necklace. Someday I'll give it to my husband :3
