So you target what teenagers would read?

Kind of. I like it though because it's not one certain genre. It can have the elements of romance or horror or fantasy without anything else.

True, but the only problem that I would have writing for something that would appeal to teens is that I would have to feed into fads that are current to the time. Then when that sort of social media or fad is no longer popular then your story will be "out of style."

True, true. But not all young adult authors feed into fads. Some of my favorite authors that are young adult authors write down to earth stories that are, in my opinion, timeless. They are relatable. Granted they aren't widely known by any means but most well written books aren't, it's quite sad.

You know any good titles? I"m always looking for new books to read.

I haven't read any new stuff in a while, my Adv. Anglish teacher is always having us read more than one book at a time so it's hard to add to that. One good one though is Hold Still, I don't remember who it was by but it was a good read. It's pretty dark, it's about this girl(Caitlin) who finds her friend who committed suicide's journal under her bed. It's about her learning to live again. Another really good one is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, it's getting a lot of press right now because of the movie but it really is an amazing book. I swear I read that one in a day, I just couldn't put it down.
