Aron shifted down the city street, his slightly wider structer making it difficult to move during the midday traffic. -perhaps I should stop someplace for lunch?- Despite not really needing anything, he stepped into a small cafe anyways, mainly to get out of the crowd. The cafe was small and placid, several humans and zunes sitting around, quietly chatting over newspapers and computers.
Aron sat down in a side aisle seat, and a barista came up for his order.
"Nothing for me right now, thanks." The slender human left.

Why was it so crowded? Vicki huffed as she forced her way through the crowd, heading to her favorite snack spot. Didn't these people know that she was late for her daily sugar fix? With another shove, Vicki popped out of the crowd and stumbled into the cafe. Finally!
Waving to the person behind the counter, Vicki chose her usual spot in the corner, by the window. The waitress came up, and Vicki chatted with her for a few minutes before ordering the usual: a large coffee and a slice of the delicious looking cake on the counter.
Sighing in relief at finally having made it, Vicki leaned back against the booth's cushions.

Aron looked up as a pretty zune sat in the booth down a couple from his, and across the aisle. He hadn't seen her come in, but she was very friendly with the server, unlike most of the customers. He smiled to himself as he tried not to stare. -Perhaps... no. I shouldn't.-
Aron slumped for a minute, realizing the idea was futile. A big city girl didn't want to hang out with a country bumpkin like him. He wasn't disappointed, though. Aron knew his place.
He grinned again as the barista brought the female a large slice of cake. -Maybe...?- Aron waved the human over as she walked past.
"Yes?" Her smile was friendly, and her eyes were twinkling. Aron hadn't noticed that before.
"I'd just like a piece of that cake on special." He grinned at the zune in the corner as the server walked away.
