I've beaten Ichirin once, and then my game, decided that I wasn't ever going to get to the end of UFO, and my game screwed up, and I couldn't control Sanae anymore. I mean, I could still dodge left and right, but it was as if the down button was constantly being held down, and you can only dodge so much like that. Similar case with Parsee and Yuugi, I can sometimes barely scrape by Parsee, but I've only beaten Yuugi once, Satori made sure I wouldn't get any further than her.
Got any similar stories? Even if you eventually managed to beat the person? Got any tips for me as to who I should use, and what firing option I should choose?

SA is my favorite of them all, because I like Hell no matter what game I play! I can play up to Orin on Normal.... Then that damned hell cat shuts me down outright.
To this day, I cannot beat Orin on normal, after making failed attempt after failed attempt.

Knowing that I'm not the only one stuck on normal makes me happy.
Heheheh...
I want to get to Utsuho, she's probably my favorite character, and it makes me sad that I'll probably never get to fight her.

Ren doesn't usually have too much trouble with Hard difficulty on most Touhou games.
But lately, Ren cannot seem to beat the Extra mode of Phantasmagoria of Flower View...
Ren doesn't understand why, either.

I've only tested my skills on EoSD, but I can get up to Remi with all my contineus, to Patchy's last card-ish without continuing. And that's happened to me once on Rumia. Also, am I the only one that thinks Cirno is completely impossible on normal? XZD. I have to bomb twice on her first card, I have an easier time on on in lunatic. Oh yeah, I can lunatic to Meiling with all my contieus too~~~

for some reson cirno getting bad at swr lately i cant finish story mode like cirno used too and then can only beat extra mode on pofv

Cirno isn't in SWR, at least I'm pretty sure she isn't.
I'm also adding Reisen to the list of people I want to strangle. I can get to her in Imperishable Night with maybe one or two continues, but then she beats the crap out of me, and I run out of time and my run ends after I beat her.

I realise this is about a year old now, but anyway this happened to me once as well. I died just as I bombed and the game forced me into a corner and wouldn't let me move. Obviously I died, but its never done that since... And yeah Yuugi is ridonculously difficult. Storm on Mt Ooe? F*** that! burning_eyes
