Sitting the aqua case beside the door, Annika slid the key into the lock and twisted, a satisfying click resounding as the door swung open. She dragged the case inside and closed the door, leaving the key dangling in the lock. She looked around her room and shook her head slightly. Time to redecorate.
Annika dragged the second single bed over to the first and wedged them together before plonking her suitcase down on top of them. She then pulled the TV unit to the opposite wall before opening her suitcase. Inside was a couple of those vacuum seal bags that compress everything.
Once the seal was broken, animal furs flooded out, and Annika smiled, leaning down to pick them up and spread them acrodd her bed, stacking them high. There were quite a few in there. With a mound of luzurious animal pelts now coating her bed. From the small compartment in the lid Annika pulled two small stuffed rodents, which she placed on her pillows, then opened the second vacuum sealed bag, her clothes spilling out. These she folded neatly and placed back into the suitcase, the two now unsealed bags beneath them. Before she tucked the suitcase under the bed. Redecorating complete Annika flopped down onto the bed, arms behind her head.

Sliding the key into the lock, she turned it and went inside her new room.
Take a step through the door way, she looked around and let out a low whistle. The girl from before, the one with the big black hair..was her roomate it seemed. "Uhh...Hi"She started off, quickly speaking again, because she thought it sounded rude."So..you like...furs?....They..They are very nice."She added.
"Im Carmen."Taking a few steps foreword, she looked where she could put her duffel bag, but decided to keep it on her shoulder for now.

Bright blue eyes flickered up, a second of shock flashing across her features before a bored look settled over her once more. "Well, that explains the second syringe..." She said with a slight eye roll. "Welcome to the den. Make yourself at home I guess... I am Annika," She replied to the stranger mentioning her name. "You like them? I skinned them myself," She felt the stirrings of curiosity, what would this girl make of that?

-Skinned them herself?- She thought, trying to keep a lid on her emotions. She did a reputable job at it too, for she hardly bat an eye. She was an animal lover, through and through...having lived in a forest for over a year.
Smiling, she spoke. "They are very nice! You have a talent Annika" She looked around the room, and noticed the strange arrangement of the beds..the dents in the carpet only meant that she moved the beds....anddd the tv as well. Weird..she thought, but she preferred weirdness over normalcy. Nothing in her life was ever normal..especially lately.
Taking the key that was left in the door, she tossed it to anika. "Careful..wouldnt want someone to take those furs..now would we?" She gave a small laugh. "Now..which bed could be mine?" She asked, putting more weight on one then the other. Her feet where entirely to sore to remain standing in one place for too long.

Smiling at the effort of her lies, instead of being blatant. Carmen liked that, liked the fact that the girl tried to make her at ease. Not wanting to upset the girl, she needed at least some space. Side by side....was a bit much to start out with. Annika wanted to be close..that was certain, so instead of side by side, Carmen pushed the bed around until both heads faced each other and against the wall. By the foot of each bed laid each side of the wall, so it ended up looking like one very long bed. Putting her duffel bag up against her own bed, she sat down and kicked her shoes off and leaned up against the wall. "Ugh..heaven!"She exaggerated. Wiggling her toes.

Annika watched with mild curiosity as Carmen rearranged the room, clearly misinterpreting her intentions. Though really, if she had been in the same position, she supposed she would think she was trying to get in her pants or something too. With a small shrug she rolled off the bed, planting her feet on the ground she pushed up with her hands and sauntered over to the TV. She grabbed both the boxes and moved back the the bed, placing them between the pillows before laying on her stomach, hands resting on her hands. "Should probably get it over sooner rather than later," She muttered.

Being in the same boat as her roommate, she decided to pick up her own syringe. A small note was attached to it, that just explained to inject the liquid and wait out the effects.
Not knowing why she desired to take it...shes never injected anything into her body. Maybe it was the fact that she had hopes of something better, maybe it was the fact that her own personal life outside of the island was just thrown to the wolves. The risk of taking this drug...the thrill of it, excited her.
"Ready?" She asked, ready to get this out of the way.

In response, the blue eyed woman nodded, scooping up the syringe and pressed the tip into her left arm. Clearly she had done this before, many times. The track marks at the fleshy joint would attest to that. She met Carmen's eyes and pressed down on the plunger, her hand balled into a fist as the contents flowed into her blood. It had been a while, since she had last used. It was difficult to get her drug of choice in prison.
The cool liquid seeped into her blood, and she could feel it, mixing inside her. She pulled out the needle when the last dreg's where out and dropped the needle to the floor.Her curiosity piqued now, wondering what effects this mystery concoction would have on her body. With that, she rolled over and fixated on the ceiling. Star bursts forming before her eyes, shimmering colours dancing across her field of vision. This wasn't so bad. So far. Quite nice actually.

Following her lead, Carmen stuck the needle in and let the liquid do its work... Eyes rolling into the back of her head, she fell back on her bed.. The empty vile slipping out of her skin, causing a think trail of blood to pool under her elbow, staining her sheets. The empty vile then rolled silently across her sheets and onto the floor.. The entire room went extremely silent, while the gene-X did its magic.

Soft moans escaped dark lips, though they sounded more pleasured than pained. She rolled and twisted, setting trembling legs against the bed, planting bare feet on the floor. Dragging one of the larger furs around her, She stood, one hand clutching the fur around her shoulders, the other pressed to her right temple. "I think it has been too long," She muttered under her breath as she walked slowly to the door. She looked over her shoulder at her sleeping room mate and shrugged before opening the door silently and slipping out, forgetting in her haze, the key.

"Ughh.." She sounded as she rolled over. She felt nausea in every sense of the word. Standing up, she barely made it into the bathroom before she lost everything that wasnt there. Odd..she thought, how many days has it been? She had no idea..but was thankful that she was alive and..well...getting better. Changing her cloths to something simple..she made her way back out into the room. The door open, with her roommates key on the bed. Lips pursing as she tried to think what could have happened..maybe she just forgot the key? She didnt want to leave the door unlocked..so she would proceed to leave a note within the door...letting Annika know what she did and where she may be.
Annika- I hope all is alright with you Annika... I have noticed that you forgot your key once again and that the door was left open...I will be locking the door on my way out. If you get home before I do..I shall be around the campus all day.

With a soft tired sigh Kaito placed the key into the lock turning it till the lock clicked twisting doorknob the door swung open. Kaito peered in noticing the room had furnishings and knick knacks around. "Hmm guess I wont have the room to myself...ah well." He thought as he slowly shut the door behind him. Tossing his bag on the bed and sliding his suitcase under what seemed to be a open bed he jumped on the bed tucking his hands behind his head letting out another long drawn out tired sigh as he closed his eyes. "I wonder what your up yo bro, I wonder who else is in this room with me ugh I swear if I get some cocky.." Kaito stop himself from continuing his thought he didn't want to jinx himself. "This bed is really comfy or I'm just that tired." His mind mixed as he laid there like a rock. "Gah well this is boring I think I'll head out for a bit explore a bit more." The brown-haired male thought as he opened and close the door behind him making sure he locked it.
