Lucas and Cynder, I greet you on your trip to a private safari!

But something seems to have happened to your peaceful evening. The convoy you're on got stuck in the mud up to the front axle on your journey.

Cynder had waited on his blind date, a little impressed he was found someone. But surely they wouldn't know what he looked like. Maybe if they were truely blind it would be better for him. No one would actually want someone so dull and plain as he. When he spotted the orange male he greeted him with a simple "Hullo" in a monotone voice. He introduced himself before motioning with a paw to the convoy they were there to ride. "Our ride awaits" he said in that same tone.

Lucas was nervous, thou he would never find it in him to admit it. To think that he would meet someone, and not just anyone, but a boy. He had no idea how to act, and knowing how socially awkward he was only made it worse. When he saw the gray guy ahead of him, he knew it. That had to be him. He was cute, bringing a slight blush to his cheeks, which he quickly shook off with a grumpy face.
"Hi. Let's get this over with."
He climbed into the ride and looked away.
"I'm Lucas, by the way. If that matters."

Cynder shrugged off the grumpy note from the other male. He wasn't one to judge so quickly. Well.. he wasn't prone to do much of anything quickly. Following after him, Cynder climbed into the truck and sat beside his date. Giving a little room between them to keep both at ease. The truck started and began the drive rolling over bumpy patches of dirt. Poking his head out his side he looked about. The day before had been raining but today it was partly cloudy and warm. Bringing his head back in he would glance over at the orange male. "Soo.. liking this so far?" The bumpy ride improved only now and then, smooth terrain was nice. But then after only a minute it would turn harsh and bumpy once more. The slush of tires through puddles mixing with the rumble of the convoy.
