Personality: Akane is a bit on the colder side of things as far as her general demeanor goes. She likes to take her duties fairly seriously, and doesn't like too many distractions when she's working. Granted, she does let herself some indulgences from time to time, especially after doing things that are particularly stressful. She doesn't like to get too close to too many strangers, due to the nature of her connections. But, she's generally warmer to those within the Family.
For that matter, she's very loyal to them, and is rather unforgiving to the enemies of the Kuroda.
That being said, she doesn't withdraw from others completely. She's willing to put up a friendly front for the sake of this or that, but she'll keep her emotions at bay. It can also be fairly difficult to tell when and if she is lying, not that she is a compulsive liar or anything. But she isn't afraid to be dishonest.
On the side, she enjoys practicing calligraphy.
Job/Business: Owns Japanese style restaurant-night club that also acts as a meeting place for the Kuroda family in Halloween Town. Thankfully she is not a chef in this place. Also does other things for the Kuroda at times.
Personal History: Akane has always been a bit of a troublemaker since her early years, having grown up in poverty. Wealth and power were some things she strove for, and these were things the Kuroda family were able to offer. She joined them ten years ago, and during that time she was rather ruthless and unforgiving. She had to be, in order to prove herself and to climb the ranks so that she wasn't just a simple grunt. Over time though, she had mellowed out, as she was able to acquire some things that she had wanted. She is now opening up a venue within Halloween Town to help extend the Family's reach from Shinokage, the city where the Kuroda is centralized in.
