ANNOUNCEMENTS 01.04.06 - Guild Revamp! The entire guild has been revamped and 4 subforums have been added. Old threads have been locked and archived, chambers and permanent location threads were moved to appropriate subforums, rules and other stickies have been updated! 02.28.05 - Room Links. - Links to the permanent Open RP castle rooms have been added to the Guild rules post. This is because Gaia is eating the threadlist on page 2 of the guild, and until that's fixed, unless you have a thread URL saved somewhere, when it falls of page 1 you wont be able to find it again! 02.27.05 - New Roleplay Manager! SilverLynx has been made the Silva Regia Roleplay Manager and an RP Question/Request/Suggestion announcement thread has been made. 02.25.05 - New Guild Crew! Youkochylde has been made a crew member and will be updating the timeline here in the guild as things happen! 01.10.05 - Chapter Two of both info threads is up! Learn how the first faerie ring was formed! 01.01.05 - Info Threads Up! Information threads on the Sun and Moon courts have been posted though they are nowhere near complete yet. Look for more info in them coming soon! 11.04.04 - Room Descriptions! The rest of the existing rooms now have descs. Remember if you want a room added, let me know! 11.03.04 - Aesculus Grows Up! Congrats Syrenrei, Aesculus is an adult now! 11.01.04 - Room Descriptions! In Castellum Argentus, the Gardens, Library, and Stable now have descriptions, as does the Inner Sanctum of Castellum Umbra. I'll be working on more in the days to come. 10.27.04 - Important Post In Nox's Diary! Read the first Roleplay Session in Nox's diary as it is a hint of an event/auction to come!

Welcome to the Silva Regia Guild! Please abid by the following rules while in here. POSTING RULESThe Forums
Main Forum: Announcements, Informational stickies, ordering of accessories/mounts/graphics, points spenditure declarations, growth/breeding requests, In-progress Out-of-Character threads, in-progress Private and Open roleplay threads, in-progress Contests, in-progress events.
Archives: Defunct fey chambers (journals), Finished Out-of-Character threads, Finished Private and Open roleplay threads, Finished Contests, and Finished RP events. All threads in this forum will be locked and are there only for history and review.
Castellum Argentus: Active Sun Court fey chambers (journals), Open RPs in Sun Court castle permanent locations.
Castellum Umbra: Active Moon Court fey chambers (journals), Open RPs in Moon Court castle permanent locations.
Neutral Ground: Active Independent/Sleeper fey chambers (journals), Open RPs in non-castle permanent locations.
General Forum Rules
GAIA RULES ARE ENFORCED! All aspects of the Terms of Service and Rules & Guidelines of Gaia apply here. If you have not thoroughly read them, please do so. They are linked at the bottom of every page on Gaia. Ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse in this. Not only will your violation be removed, it will first be reported to an appropriate moderator who can then issue you an official warning or banning.
NO CYBERING: Absolutely no cybering or cybering-related activities. This includes any posting of hot and heavy stuff leading up to cybering. Kissing, embracing, whispering sweet nothings, flirting, and caressing non intimate areas is perfectly OK. Think of what was acceptable in a film of the 1940s or 1950s, not what you can now see on a soap opera. If I wanted to read smut I'd go someplace other than Gaia. Where intimate contact is concerned, less description is better. Sliding an arm around your romantic interest and pulling them close is wonderful. Describing how your eyes roam over their luscious curves is pushing it. If you want to get that intimate, please use IMs or another off-Gaia resource.
CHILD FRIENDLY: Please keep sexual innuendo, graphic descriptions of violence, and vulgarity to a minimum and ONLY IN CHARACTER. I want this guild and my pets to be something I would feel all right having my 13 year old nephew and 16 year old neice being involved in. If I feel my sister-in-law would be screaming at me over something her kids saw on here, I'll be removing it and having a chat with the poster. There are plenty of adult websites and areas of Gaia where vulgarity and the like is acceptable. This is not one of them.
SUITABLE FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION: Although this is a private guild, it is not hidden. Only members can post, but any member of Gaia can read what is posted here. This means that if you don't want the public to see what you are writing about, this isn't the place to write it.
ONLY MEMBERS CAN POST: Please remember that only members of the guild (at this time Fey owners) can post here, so discussions meant to be addressed by non-owners or the general public shouldn't be here.
KEEP IT RELEVANT: Gaia has specific forums for entertainment, religion, life issues, politics, videogames, art, manga/anime, and the like, so unless you are specifically looking for the opinions and input of just Silva Regia owners, you are better off posting those topics in their respective forums.
BANNED TOPICS: On a personal note, I'm asking that political, morality, and religious threads NOT be placed in this guild. In 34 years I've learned that you will not convince someone who is firmly planted in their beliefs on any of these issues, and all debates on them do is create animosity.
ABSOLUTELY NO FLAMING OR TROLLING IN THE GUILD: The only exception is in the case roleplayed arguments. Anyone flaming or trolling will be blacklisted and reported to a moderator for breaking the Terms of Service. If someone makes an error or breaks a rule of the thread, it is Sajhiri and designated staffers who will deal with them. Although you may give them a polite and friendly heads up about their mistake, do not berate, yell at, flame, or harass them or you will be blacklisted for a 1 month period. A second offense will be a 2 month blacklisting. If you are blacklisted 3 times, you will be banned from the thread and lose your Fey if you own one.
Thread Posting
TIR NAN OG: In the Roleplay threads within Tir Nan Og Fey please remember Kithain are the only ones able to travel there with whomever or whatever they can carry at the time. When a human Kithain passes through the Fairy Ring in the Silva Regia tower, they (and their belongings/passengers) are reduced to Fey size, which is what all of Tir Nan Og is scaled to. Please keep this in mind when roleplaying in this thread.
OFF LIMITS CHAMBERS: Do not post in a Fey's private chambers/journal without the express permission of that Fey's Kithain. Most Kithain will post a list of guidelines in their own thread for who can post, for what reasons, and in what manner.
PRIVATE MEANS PRIVATE: Do not post in a thread marked [PRP] unless you are listed in the first post as someone allowed to participate.
SEPARATE IC/OOC: Try to keep OOC conversations out of IC threads when at all possible. If you have to depart a scene or have a question while in an IC thread, use PMs if you can, otherwise, please contain OOC comments in double parenthesis ((like this)).
SCENE ETIQUETTE: If an Open RP [ORP] thread is already being used for a scene, please either join it (All scenes in this thread should be publically open) or if you don't wish to, please use your own chambers (journal) for your private session or create a [PRP] Private RP thread.
NO MUNCHKINS!: Fey are statted and possess and learn skills and abilities. They are be able to raise them by earning points through roleplaying anf general activity then spending them to raise levels. These stats should be reflected in their roleplaying. The system is a simplfied adaptation of Dungeons and Dragons, so if your fae has a low charisma score, they shouldn't be prancing around as if they are the Tyra Banks of Tir Nan Og!
RP DISPUTE RESOLUTION: If there is a conflict in a scene and players can not agree on an outcome, the built in Gaia dice generator should be used for rolls based on the character stats. If either user feels the stats do not reflect the situation, then Sajhiri or a designated staffer can be asked to determine conflict resolution. In their abscence, please "pause" the scene, by ending the session and indicating it will be continued at a later time in the last post, and put "NEED STAFF" somewhere in the thread title. Staff have final say on disputed scenes, please abide by their decisions.
THREAD SPECIFIC RULES
FEY CHAMBERS/CASTLE ROOMS/TIR NAN OG: In the Guild each Fey will have their own chambers. Their chambers will be located in the subforum named for the place their Fey lives (ie, Sun Court in Castellum Argentus, Moon Court in Castellum Umbra, and Sleepers in Neutral Ground) This is both their journal, and a physical RP location of their private living quarters in the castle of their court. All Castle chambers are created by the Silva Regia account for description and information updating purposes. Please do not make any chambers on your own. Castle Rooms are physical locations in one of the court castles which exist in the castle map and can be used for open roleplaying! Each Chamber/Room will be pre-pended with either [CH] to indicate it is a fey's chambers (or in the case of a sleeper, their lair).
POINT TRACKING: A new points based system will be put in place, and kithain will be responsible for keeping track of these points and reporting spending of them. The original second post of their thread (made by the shop mule) will be removed, and they will be require to place their character sheet in it, and keep it updated. A sticky will be provided regarding expenditures and formats.
PRIVATE ROLEPLAY THREADS: If you are holding a scene that has specific participants, and do not wish to hold it as open RP in a chamber thread, please make an appropriate title for your thread and pre-pend it with [PRP] (for Private RP). When the scene is over, please change the title to have [FIN] for finished. That lets readers know there is a finished scene that can be read in it's entirely, and lets staff know we can lock it and move it to the Archives subforum to unclutter the main forum.
OPEN ROLEPLAY THREADS: If you want to have an open scene set outside of the castle locations (ie a Gaia location, somewhere in the forest, etc), feel free to make a thread pre-pended with [ORP] for Open RP. Please remember that all Castle room threads are open rp rooms, so if you want your rp to take place in one of those places, use the provided thread.Again, when finished, please change the title to begin with [FIN].
Out-of-Character Threads: Everyone is welcome to make Out-of-Character chat threads and the like, in the Main Forum but please mark them with the following:
[OOC] for Out-of-Character chat threads
[SPR] for threads containing spoilers of movies, tv shows, video games, etc.
[DIS] for discussion threads
[SUG] for suggestion threads

SUGGESTION THREADS If you have any suggestions for permanent RP rooms to be added to either castle or Neutral Ground, roleplays to be run, contests, events, plotlines, or even fey concepts, spells, rules changes, and other additions, please post a thread in the Main Forum with [SUG] at the front of the title to indicate it's a Suggestion. All other guild members are free to comment and make suggestions in these threads. Staffers will review them and determine if the suggestion is one that can be implemented at that point in time.

DISCUSSION THREADS Discussion threads are welcome in the main forum, provided the author realize only Silva Regia players are able to post here. If you are looking for widespread opinions on a topic, you're better off posting in General or Extended Discussion. Please prepend Discussion threads with [DIS] and change the title to [FIN] when the discussion has ended, so staff can move the thread to the archives and lock it.

If there is already an open chat thread on the front page, please post there, rather than making a new thread. Please prepend Chat threads with [OOC] and change the title to [FIN] when the chat has ended, so staff can move the thread to the archives and lock it.

ROLEPLAY THREADS User made roleplay threads are welcome in the MAIN FORUM ONLY, and only if they are either an open RP in a non-permanent location (ie there is not a permanent thread for that place in one of the subforums) or if they are a private RP anywhere. If it is open RP and there is a permanent location thread in a subforum for that place (ie the library of Castellum Argentus), please post there, rather than making a new thread. Please DO NOT make user created threads in the subforums for any reason. Please prepend RP threads with [ORP] for open RP or [PRP] for private RP, and change the title to [FIN] when the RP has ended, so staff can move the thread to the archives and lock it. Please post a list of who is permitted to post in your rp in the first post if it is private.
