 Reiji Hirudora
The Ancient "I've lived for centuries, yet one thing reigns true;..." Quite literally stepping out of the shadow of one of the many prospective suitors waiting entrance to see Diana, Reiji walked by them all, none of them saying a word. His clothing, seemingly from another era, was quite a clue as to who he was. As the most recent suitor left the throne room, head hung in shame, Reiji entered, the next in line looking rather annoyed, but afraid enough to not speak up. "Princess Diana?..." Reiji inquired softly as he entered, his head lowered respectfully, hiding his eyes under the brim of his hat. "...nothing compares to the smile of a beautiful woman."

 Princess Diana Victoria"Living in the moment is curious... As we are already dead..."Diana smiled like the sun shined on her face, even though it was nighttime. An old friend and protector, Reiji Hirudora, had indeed come, as she had hoped. "Reiji, thank you for coming on short notice. As you have heard, my parents have passed onto the next life, and I must ascend. If you like... the "position" is yours. After all, I have known you since birth." It was no surprise to anyone how forthcoming Diana was.

The Ancient "I've lived for centuries, yet one thing reigns true;..." "...I would be most honored..." Looking up at her, Reiji's soft crimson eyes gazed into hers, a small smile upon his face. "I was given the same offer centuries ago, but I was too young and naive to accept it. I just hope that my... old ways will not be a bother." Slowly, he made his way to the throne beside Diana, phasing in and out every few steps as he passed from shadow to shadow. "...nothing compares to the smile of a beautiful woman."

Princess Diana Victoria"Living in the moment is curious... As we are already dead..."A shadowwalker... Surely that was a plus for this engagement. Knowing Reiji was one to step into shadows, if there were to be any attackers, the throne would be secure. "What are your terms, Reiji?" Better to get the nail downs out of the way now than to wait.

If she had a heartbeat, it would have skipped a beat at that moment because Diana's breathing had picked up the moment Reiji appeared beside her. "Well, let me show you to our chambers then..." Diana took a moment to regain her composure and motioned for Reiji to follow.
