The temple of High Ver'Dos sits upon the jagged slopes of Mt.Glory, so named when the temple itself was discovered by a young adventurer by the name of Gaddrious Stok. It is said that High Ver'Dos is the home of the Diety Drantus, the god of Valor. As the legend tells, Drantus would call upon the mortals of the world to rise to a higher cause, and to become legendary. He would show them the path to glory, honor, and valor. In return the heroes would be granted rewards of untold wealth and strength, let alone the great benefit of a nation's debt. Whether they climbed upon the stones of Mt.Glory themselves or whether Drantus called upon them during an age of darkness, one could always find a path to immortality at High Ver'Dos. ѥѧѩѫѭ Drantus ѧѩѫѭѥ "God of Valor" A being of few words, Drantus is among the most wise of those with which mortals can speak. He knows many things, due to his excessive experience in adventure, unlike many deities who remain among the god's home or obsess over their labors as a specified deity. He who has traveled the world believes that in order for one to become strong, they must take upon themselves challenge and complete it on their own. Gifts: Items of Enchantment (RP gifts), Gold (Gaia Gifts)

†☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬FOKEDAN▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼† Fokedan heaved and gasped for breath. He had been a little over-excited and tried to get up the mountain as fast he could. Stupid, should have taken my time, but he had been traveling for a while now and was growing impatient. The world was full of darkness, and he needed guidance. Hopefully Drantus would answer his plea for help.
There were scrapes and bruises all over Fokedan. His body was thin and a little bony, having eaten nothing but birds and berries. He caught a boar once, but it gave him a nasty gouge in his ribs that kept breaking open when he moved to much. "Almost there... I can see the temple now.." He dragged himself the rest of the way, and stopped outside the entrance. Finally, after his entire journey, feeling hesitant. What would he find in there?
The gods only know. Fokedan smiled at that thought and walked inside, ready for his destiny to unfold.†☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼†

†☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬FOKEDAN▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼† Inside the temple Fokedan contemplated everything. Looked at ever stone and ever statue. Gazed upon each pillar and wall. His mind was racing and his heart was pounding; he didn't know what to say, and didn't know what to expect. Maybe Drantus won't even speak to me, and my journey here will be for nothing... His thoughts turned sour as he approached the altar, then she whispered too him.
"Fokedan, just ask what you need too," her voice came as if from all around, so clear and real, but there was no girl there. Fokedan fell on his knees before the altar and bowed his head in prayer.
"Drantus. Help me on my path in this dark and strange world. I know nothing of the times, and not a single thing looks the same to me. I've been gone far to long.." Tears burned his eyes but he didn't let them fall, "I'm lost and confused, tell me what I must do.. to regain my families lost honor and glory, and put my pained heart at ease." The world was so different now. The only person he knew that could answer all his questions and help him was Drantus. The god his father had worshiped and taught the family to respect. He would give quests to the worthy, and they would bring glory and peace in troubled times. Hopefully it was all true.†☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼†

There was a bright flash of light and suddenly Drantus was standing there. He looked at the newcomer with an expressionless face. "You wish to restore your family's honor. But the task is not an easy one. " He said, walking forward. "A giant has been terrorizing the village nearby, destroying homes and killing the villagers. This is not the first village he has destroyed. He will return again tonight. You must not let him succeed." He brought out a parchment and gave it to the mortal. "This will show you the way. Fight well, friend." There was another bright flash of light, leaving the room empty.

nefret2011 It's okay, I'm a bit slow sometimes too.. xP †☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬FOKEDAN▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼† He stood back up slowly, and looked at the parchment in his hands. That was.. Drantus.. Fokedan felt a little numb and unsure what to do, but found that he had walked back outside the temple. "Allright, this is it. Time to see where I face my first challange," he said with anticipation; his voice shaking a little. He looked at the parchment too see where he must go.†☼†▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬‡xx‡▬▬▬▬▬▬†☼†
