History
Conroy Hawklight was the first in his family to be invited to go to Hogwarts in his family. It was the first time his parents had even heard of it. However they allowed him to go anyway, as they believed it would be good for him. He often had found school boring, so hopefully something like this would gain his interest.

There Conroy met Addison as they were both assigned to Slytherin. She however was more familiar with the wizarding world, but she had been the first to be put in Slytherin so she didn't have any prejudice against any other houses. And eventually friendship turned into dating, and marriage after graduation. Afterwards they eventually moved to Bath, where Conroy's parents lived. At this time Addison's parents moved to Greece, so their children were more familiar with Conroy's parents than hers.

While his parents were busy, they would often let Conroy's parents look after the kids, which is where the three brothers learned about the business world of muggles and other such ventures. However, at about age 7, Price Hawklight took a turn for the worst and eventually died. By that time though, the Hawklights figured their kids could take care of themselves while they were gone, and so left them to their devices as they worked most of the day. Unfortunately while his siblings were at Hogwarts, Carter was alone and his grandfather's death had effected him greatly, eventually causing him to lose interest in school and just about everything else. He was okay once his brother's were home for breaks, but otherwise he could only be found reading books, never going out with friends, not enjoying a normal childhood due to his unaddressed feelings.

His parents noticed this and tried to get him interested in something, signing him up for many programs, but eventually they all fell through, and the only place they could get him to go was the library. When he was around 10, Carter eventually started to get anxious as to whether or not he would get an invitation to Hogwarts, worrying that he might not be accepted. However his fears were quelled when he finally turned 11 and was able to go with his brother's to Hogwarts with them.

Relationship with Family
Carter was especially close to his grandfather, Price who taught him much about muggle businesses, since he had been a muggle banker. He doesn't think much about his maternal grandparents as he doesn't see them often since they live in Greece. He gets along well enough with his parents and has a normal relationship with them, but being the youngest child he was raised more by his brothers, as his parents were usually working. He is closer to both of his brothers, often looking up to them as role models and wanting to join them in their businesses as hustlers at Hogwarts. He's less acquainted with his Uncle, who often is traveling because of muggle business around the world.
