Well ladies and gents you heard Cap'n. Votes!
Those in favor of Time Skip; and those not in favor of Time Skip.
For those in favor there will be several options of time ranging in the length of months to years.
As Nor said, this will not effect the Senju in anyway.

I like time skips, gives us a chance for retro spective character development in the form of flash backs...

Definitely 9 months, or maybe 1 year. It gives enough time for someone who didn't know they were pregnant (most likely ijimeru, lol) to have had a cute little baby by now!
JK truthfully I think anything above a few months ruins a bit of the continuity...all the uchiha guys will randomly be a year older while the Senju stay the same age... I'd think even a couple of weeks would be good...even a few days would be acceptable and not ruin continuity.

I giggle at this. :3 On another note... I think a timeskip would benefit the whole guild, not just the Uchiha. It's time for everyone to age now, since we've been playing for around 4 months or so with this new storyline/plot (clan wars). We generally do the timeskip around this time. Also, think of it this way-people all around the world celebrate the calendar in different ways. Say the Uchiha have a timeskip of a year-ot could still be another "year" for the Senju/etc. to grow. So the Senju could be older than the Uchiha.

Apparently I am the only crazy one to for the three years xd , but that's just me. However brief it may or may not be, I do agree that a time skip would do us good.

Ugh, I really don't want a time skip. emotion_eyebrow
The Uchiha right now have a great opertunity to do some character building with the destruction of their village, we can also roleplay having these new genin's action start to shape the Uchiha clan itself with various missions, sub-plots and the whole shabang. Having a time skip is a really poor, really lazy and really opertunity wasting thing to do in my opinion. I would much rather see things move on a progress regularly. I don't want to have to go back and retrospect a character that I more or less just introduced into the clan without having had a chance to get to know the other characters. In order to actually be able to get a feeling for how my character would react will take a lot of needless busy-work. Selfish, perhaps, but I think that jumping to a year ahead would really waste a lot of good opertunities.
On that note, I think we would be much better off just dropping the Chuunin exam finals. Now that we are using a point system to rank up our characters the Exam is an utter waste of time and effort for everyone involved.

While I still a time skip would be cool I have to agree with Raz and peanut's logic. The opportunity for reactionary character development here is something we shouldn't dismiss. It's not as though there wont be a chance for a better fitting time skip later ya know?

I did Raz ;p, but peanut expressed the want not the decision to change her vote so I was still unsure. Lol. It looks like we may have our decision, need to poke Nor and see if his return is officialized or not

I don't think there should be a timeskip. Skips out too much on the character development at this point. So I'm voting against it.

upon reading the concerns and logic of others and reflecting on my own opinions I too have decided to change my opinion and say no. Personally there are major events for my character alone coming up that would be sorely missed if skipped.
