"Of course, Madam." He teased, and plucked a random flower from garden handing it to her. "Now lets go inside so I can have my sweater back." He winked and lead her over the bridge to the shop's storage room door.
He couldn't have imagined a better way to spend the afternoon. More than ever, he hoped he could find a way to avoid the trip to Dragons Breath... He wanted to stay here, at the shop. He wanted to visit with Kerryn and find the ghost again. He wanted to meet the other Simulacra.

Kerryn smiled, taking the flower with the utmost gentleness and tucking into her hair behind her ear. "Oh shush, you. You were the one to forked it over." She followed behind him with a grin, pulling her arms out of the sleeves of his sweater and pulling it over her head while trying not to dislodge the flower. "Catch!" She laughed, throwing the sweater at him as she ran past him and to the door to the shop, opening it and moving inside.
"OH THANK GOD!" Bri gushed when her daughter came into the shop, white faced and looking frantic. Closing her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger. "You scared the bejeebus out of me, Kerryn."
"Sorry, Bri." Kerryn muttered, looking out the open door behind her to Ray, "I'm alright, really though. Ray would have protected me from anything." She nodded, "He even gave me his sweater when I got cold." It came out in a rush as she tried to make sure that neither of them would get in much trouble.
Looking out the door, Bri frowned but nodded. "Alright, Kerryn, but we have to go now." Reaching out to take Kerryn's hand as she started for the door.
"Yes, Bri." Looking at Ray she smiled sheepishly, "Bye, I guess then. See you soon.." Watching Ray as Bri pulled her to the door and out, not wanting to leave her newfound friend.

Ray caught the tossed sweater, draping it over one arm. "Sorry, Miss Bri." Ray said as Kerryn's mother rushed towards them. "We lost track of time in the garden. We didn't mean to worry you."
Ray waved as Kerryn was hauled off by her worried mother. Once the door was shut, he sighed in relief, wondering if he'd be hearing from Emme when he got home. Surely Bri would call her if she'd been overly worried. He hoped not.
He pulled up one of the over stuffed chairs that sat behind she shop's counter and flopped down. It had been a rather strange afternoon. He thoroughly enjoyed Kerryn's company. Spending time with her seemed to make up for the fact that he'd yet to meet many more of the simulacra. He leaned back in the chair and looked at his strangely darkened hands, and noticed that the veins of green almost seemed to shimmer. He flexed his fingers, nothing felt different... as far as he could tell.
He got up and slowly went about locking up the shop for the night. It wasn't too dark out yet... maybe a few of teh shops would still be open. He grabbed his sweater and jacked and headed out the door.
