It is the year 2515. A scientist by the name of Arthur Laiden has cracked how the mind works, and has created a program and a world to allow people to feel what they feel in their dreams, as well as control the situation. It seemed perfect, never having to die in another nightmare again, and to have people in the world you can communicate with.However, while working on a group of patients who he had created a seemingly perfectly balanced, action packed and amazing world for, a virus got loose in the system he'd created. He tried to stop the virus,but lost control, and the virus entered their brains through the waves of the headset they were wearing. Now, the virus has taken control. They are unable to wake up. He could only watch in horror on the monitor as his seventh patient tried to fight the virus. He got killed, and, to his horror, his body started bleeding exactly where he died, and the patient died not too long after that.
Realizing his failure, the doctor could only do one thing. He entered the program's database, and gave his patients the power to combat the virus. They became the antivirus. Since this development, the virus has taken a new form, and is hiding in a deeper plane of the world. What's worse, the world has now become somewhat of a video game, with weapons, magic, and a whole lot of monsters. Now, all he can do is sit back and pray, as we, the patients, traverse the world, and try and conquer the virus.
